The 2017 season brought the men’s tennis program to new heights as the Hawks made their first ever NCAA DII Tennis Championships Sweet 16 appearance in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Chowan advanced to the Tennis Championships after clinching the Atlantic Region II Championship defeating West Virginia Wesleyan at the Rose Family Tennis Complex. Chowan capped off their spectacular season ranked No. 41 in the nation and No. 2 in the Atlantic Region.
