This worldcanbeacruel, hurtful placeat times. Wehave certainly experienced that lately, haven’t we? The painand the sufferingandcruelty that our Lord told us we wouldhave to endure, cannot andmust not stop us fromholding up His truth, nor canit cause us to retreat into the “safety” ofjust bidingour time until weleave this dark place
Wehaveallexperienced someformofgriefduring these recent times. Along with this grief, wehavehad various emotionsmany tears havebeen shedand sadly, many unkind words have been spoken. Let’s be reminded that in themidst of this - andanyheartbreaking situation, God’s heart is broken too
So, what’s theanswer tobringhealing to this sinfulhumanity?
Ofcourse weknow theONLYANSWERis Jesus. But, how canIhow can you makeadifference when there’s somucheviland so much tobedone? It starts onour knees literally or however wecan submit to theSavior Heis waitingoneachof us todraw as near to
Himas wecan. These prayers will quiet our hurtinghearts and souls It’s so precious toknow that as we stay inHis presenceHe will speak to us withHis truth. Our faith will thenbeactivated, which thengives us boldness as Hedirects us to step into
Rom. 12:21 “Do no overcome be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ”
Only the sweet Spirit ofour Lordcanlead us into these “paths of righteousness” , causing us tobeHis “salt andlight.” He’s patiently waitingoneachof us toaskHim“How canIbe the
‘good’ in this evil world?” He will tell you exactly what you must do. Wemust runour own race withenduranceandkeep our eyes fixed onJesus at all times. It willbe so worthit when we seeour Lord face toface. In themeantime, stay faithfulin praying - Godis bigger thanany evilin this world!
