About fifteen years ago, it was a sad Saturday night if it wasn’t spent at the Jerudong Park Playground. During those days, an empty Jerudong Park on weekends was unheard of – the pathways were full of people, the rides had queues, the gerai barely had any empty seats and you would have needed to circle the parking lot at least three times before you could find a parking space. Jerudong Park went into a stage of restructuring and has recently re-emerged with new vitality. On the evening of May 18, His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Wakeel launched the reopening of one of Brunei’s most treasured landmarks and with a spectacular eruption of fireworks in the evening sky, Jerudong Park came back into our lives! Visitors can enjoy new attractions such as the fun laser-filled Lazer Maze, 25-metre tall Ferris Wheel that lights up like a city at night and a gold mine-themed Junior Roller Coaster. Familyfriendly classic rides such as the double-decker carousel, bumper cars and pedal boats have been restored and are available again to the public. The mini water park is still under construction but it is ultimately set to make a splashy entrance later this year. 01

The 21-Hole MiniGolf Course

One of the most popular new attractions is the 21-hole mini golf course – the first one in the country. The landscaped attraction is designed by Craig Bartlett - a world-class miniature golf course designer from Australia. Aside from the rides, the park will also feature newly renovated playgrounds for children, food kiosks, convenience stores and a merchandise shop on the park premises.
