Copenhagen earns top position on the list of Dream Cities Tyler Brulee, founder of Wallpaper, gave Copenhagen this brilliant recognition in the Financial Times after ten cities in the world had been competing. Copenhagen’s title as Dream City is based on the ideal size for a metropolis. The Copenhageners are pleasant people, the airport is close to perfect, the metro is quite new and the city has a network of cycle paths. In addition come the new harbour line and the attractive shops.

Top 10 ‘traditional’ sights in Copenhagen The Little Mermaid - continues to be the most popular tourist attraction in Denmark and one of the most photographed statues in the world.

As a natural extension of this, ISES also has an annual gala show “ISES Esprit Awards” where tribute is paid to the best international events. Members from all around the world can submit their events and the ISES Esprit Awards committee then selects the nominees.

“Copenhagener” Award 2000 – “Best Marketing Stunt 2000” “A party of huge dimensions and a marketing stunt worth millions” When the successful pop music band, Aqua, launched their album “Aquarius” all sails were set to create waves in the local duck pond as well as in the global sea of media. On 25 February, more than 400 journalists from 40 countries took over “Den Sorte Diamant” (the Black Diamond) on the waterfront, which was transformed into a discotheque and commercial inferno for the evening. The attention was enormous and Aqua succeeded in being broadcast for most of the evening on the two national TV channels. In addition to the national coverage, more than 200 TV stations around the world were involved in direct transmissions from the event.

MAIN PARTNER – SHOW PRODUCTION ROSKILDE FESTIVAL Roskilde Festival is the largest music festival in Northern Europe and took place for the first time in 1971. The festival is run by 30 full-time employees and thousands of volunteers.

Each year, The Roskilde Festival Charity Society, the non-profit organization behind the festival, ensures that all profits earned on the festival are donated directly to humanitarian and cultural purposes.

Over the last 36 years more than 13,3 million EUR has been distributed worldwide.

Roskilde Festival provides an annual 4-days’ festival of music and culture, open for participants to enjoy all aspects of music, community spirit, service, quality and safety. Wonderful Copenhagen CVB (WoCo) is the official convention and visitors bureau of Copenhagen, dealing with all aspects of Copenhagen as a leisure and business destination.

The aim of the bureau is to make Copenhagen widely known as a dynamic, vibrant city and thereby strengthen and extend the city’s international networks and identity. WoCo is a non-profit organization funded approx. 50 percent by public partners (the state and the regional authorities), while private companies within the tourist sector in Copenhagen fund the remaining half. WoCo has a long tradition and experience in developing and attracting large-scale events in the areas of conferences, sports and cultural activities to Copenhagen.

LOCAL HOST COMMITTEE The three main partners (Welcome Meeting Management, Roskilde Festival and Wonderful Copenhagen Convention & Visitors Bureau) will establish a local host committee consisting of relevant partners from the music and festival scene in Copenhagen and Denmark.

The local host committee will be overall responsible for planning, promoting and executing a successful WOMEX 2009, 2010 and 2011 in Copenhagen. Based on the good experiences with volunteer programmes from the Roskilde Festival and Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the local host committee expects to establish a volunteer programme to support the event and the delegates during WOMEX. Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Global Copenhagen and Danish Center for Culture and Development have all shown interest in participating in the local host committee.

Copenhagen Jazz Festival The Copenhagen Jazz Festival (CJF) is one of the great musical celebrations of Copenhagen’s cultural calendar, taking place each year in early July. Shifting freely from happy New Orleans jazz to cutting-edge jazz-electronica, the 10-day-long CJF offers nearly 100 concerts daily, taking place just about anywhere; from small dusty venues to parks, pedestrian areas, boats or jazz-institutions, featuring anything from local hard-core experimentalists to international legends. The 2006 edition comprised 850 concerts, attended by 240.000 people. The festival began in 1979.

Global Copenhagen Global Copenhagen is a club venue dedicated to world music only. It presents world music with a selection of some of the best international and national bands. The Copenhagen music scene is vibrant and very heterogeneous from hip DJs and clubs, to disco ballrooms with funky décor and international world music performers in an intoxicating, intimate atmosphere.

Copenhagen celebrates music throughout the city – in parks, streets, football stadiums, bars, and clubs or in intimate concert venues. In the following we will present some of the many festivals, concerts and stages available in the city.

For five days in the middle of August the Clubbinghagen festival offers a programme full of live concerts, DJs and performances ranging from neofolk punk to indie pop. The festival’s audience is both experienced clubbers from Copenhagen, and visitors to the city.

For five days in September the Copenhagen Blues Festival arranges 50 concerts with international and Danish blues names – among them Nine Below Zero (UK), Boo Boo Davis (US) and Lillian Boutté (US) - in 18 large and small stages across Copenhagen.

‘A celebration of Copenhagen nightlife’, Copenhagen Distortion is the biggest annual clubbing and nightlife event of the year – a massive party lasting five days and nights in June. The difference

MUSIC MOVES COPENHAGEN between Distortion and other music festivals is that Distortion is not only a music festival. It celebrates urban landscapes, mobility, improvisation, late-night chaos, nightlife clichés, fashion, hype, community networks, even cutting-edge marketing as much as it does music.

A new collaboration between Danish electronic record labels has come together to promote the electronic music scene in Copenhagen. They are called Copenhagen Label Collaboration and are the hosts of an electronic music festival in Copenhagen. During the festival the best from the Danish electronic scene will be presented in collaboration with visuals, arts and video installations.

In June, Denmark’s largest festival for upcoming music - Vesterbro Festival, takes place in the hip quarter of Vesterbro. The festival has six different stages, which are based, in old slaughterhouses that normally are used as rehearsal rooms for upcoming bands.

In autumn 2007 a new electronic music festival will see the light in Copenhagen. The aim of “Strøm” (”Electric power” in English) is to combine music with new digital media platforms. In five years Strøm will be Northern Europe’s leading electronic music festival based 100 % on digital experiences.

Major festivals Every year towards the end of June Northern Europe’s largest music festival, the Roskilde Festival, takes place not far from Copenhagen. The festival attracts around 65,000 music fans and is renowned for showcasing major names. A famously friendly, party-loving crowd get to experience world class acts and a wide range of music, from rock, pop, house and r’n’b to the warmth of West Indian reggae. Some of the stars who have played the festival recently include Metallica, Duran Duran, Green Day and Snoop Dogg.

Just one week later comes the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, which always begins on the first Friday in July, and lasts ten days. The festival has grown considerably since it began in 1979 and today clubs, bars, parks and streets throughout the city play host to around 700 concerts and events drawing upwards of 100,000 visitors. The programme features all kinds of jazz, from traditional to future sounds of jazz, while the performers are a blend of both Danish and international musicians, such as Palle Mikkelborg, Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett.

The jazz scene is spread throughout the city’s small bars. La Fontaine hosts live jazz every weekend while Republik Weimar covers the full gamut of genres from live jazz to electro.

One of the world’s biggest music events, the MTV European Music Awards, came to Copenhagen in November 2006. The television spectacular featured many of the hottest names in music. In the week leading up to the show, a Copenhagen Music Week put the Copenhagen music scene in the spotlight. Copenhagen Music Week brought together the best of the Danish music scene with live concerts, bands, dj parties, video art, showcases and music events.

The smaller stages New bands cut their teeth on smaller stages, which is also where audiences enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere for which the Copenhagen music scene is famed.

Global Copenhagen Global Copenhagen is the new club venue dedicated to world music only, located in the ethnic quarter Nørrebro.

Within the world music scene, Global Copenhagen presents some of the best international and national bands like Balkin Beat Box, Apparat Schik, Kocani Orkestar, Zenzile and Che Sudaka. Each year Global Copenhagen houses the World Music Festival for upcoming bands in Denmark.

MUSIC MOVES COPENHAGEN Stengade 30 is a small venue, great for checking out the music bubbling on the Danish underground scene. Stengade showcases different kinds of new music from rock to hip hop, and dance to jazz. The artists come from Denmark, elsewhere in Scandinavia and the rest of the world, and include acts like Baby Woodrose (DK), Green Carnation (N), The Legends and DJ Darren (NZ).

In the ’Free city’ of Christiania is another of Copenhagen’s alternative music venues, Loppen. The stage offers a broad range of musical acts. You can hear rock, pop, country and hip hop at Loppen and, though the likes of Bob Dylan have played here, many of the names are unknowns – or at least they are when they first appear here - (Smashing Pumpkins is one of many acts that has gone on to greater things after playing Loppen). Acts tend to be equally divided between Danish and overseas names.

Culture Box is the new playground for non-commercial cultural events. At week-ends, Culture Box hosts club events such as showcases, electronic events, fashion shows and movies. The music profile is non-commercial, with an extensive range of different kinds of music, including Techno, House, Electro, Electronica, Abstract HipHop, Drum’N’Bass, Dub, Reggae and Electronic Jazz. Culture Box will be the main venue for the Copenhagen Label Collaboration’s electronic music festival.

Vega’s programme is diverse, covering rock, pop, hip-hop and soul, and it has been one of the driving forces behind the introduction of electronic music to Copenhagen. Vega attracts big names but it is best known for the intimate nature of its concerts. Store Vega is the stage on which to see established names such as the Danish band Carpark North, as well as major international stars like Prince, Björk, Kylie Minogue and David Bowie.

Lille Vega typically hosts concerts by upcoming artists, but the acts that appear here often turn up on the larger stage later in their careers.

Furthermore, VEGA opens its doors to club evenings with international stardj’s such as Dimitri from Paris, Bob Sinclar, Fatboy Slim, and DJ Shadow.

Another draw of the Copenhagen music scene is Copenhagen JazzHouse.

Following the closure of the legendary Of course, ‘it don’t mean a thing if it Monmartre jazz club, Copenhagen ain’t got that swing’, which is where was without a major, international Mojo blues bar comes in. The country’s standard jazz venue until the JazzHouse leading blues venue offers live opened in 1991. Copenhagen has an music every evening from a range of internationally renowned jazz history, blues, country and folk. This small stage, close to the audience, offers an intimate concert experience. Concerts take place regularly in Rust every Thursday, as well as on other days of the week. The live stage focuses on upcoming or alternative names from the indie rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic music scenes, such as Z Star (UK), & Northwood (UK/DK) and Camille Jones (DK).

Pumpehuset draws major names, a third of whom are international stars such as Macy Gray, Def Leppard and Melanie C. The remainder are Danish artists, including Blue Foundation, Randi Laubek and Outlandish.

And then there are those shows that are too big for Copenhagen’s intimate concert venues. As the music capital of the north, Copenhagen must be able to host the world’s greatest names and for those occasions there is PARKEN – Denmark’s national football stadium with space for 40-45,000 people. The arena has played host to the likes of Robbie Williams, Simon and Garfunkel and U2. Meanwhile, Forum has seen full houses for Britney Spears, Lenny Kravitz and Coldplay, who have all drawn capacity crowds of 10,000. KB-Hallen and Valbyhallen have space for between 3-5,000 – which they need when Garbage, Franz Ferdinand, Travis or Oasis are in town.

BY AIR Europe’s best international airport The attraction of Copenhagen Airport is far more than just its geographical location. As a major European transfer hub it has over the past decade been tailoring its facilities to suit the international traveller.

The stunning Copenhagen Airport is the hub of international air travel in the region. It has connections to the rest of the world and the many national and regional airports in Scandinavia and the area south of the Baltic Sea. Copenhagen Airport also functions as the hub for SAS and is thus one of the hubs in the Star Alliance. Star Alliance is a network of 16 international airlines that fly to a total of 795 airports in 139 countries.

Transfer time - from airport to city centre by train

The airport attracts more than 20 million passengers every year and is one of the busiest in Europe, with direct flights to and from 132 destinations all over the world.

The Øresund link Copenhagen Airport is situated on the island of Amager, only 8 kilometres southeast of Copenhagen. A new fast rail link has cut transit time to an incredible 12 minutes from the airport to the heart of the city. This is by far the fastest transit time from airport to city centre of any European capital city, with trains running every 10 minutes.

The motorway and railway connection between Copenhagen Airport and Sweden opened in 2000. The many passengers from Sweden can now come to the airport by car, bus or train in 20 minutes from the centre of Malmö. The distance from the train platform to the check-in counters is less than 100 metres.

In October 2007 it will be possible to take the Metro direct to Copenhagen Airport. The Metro station will be integrated into the terminal complex, which means passengers will be able to walk between the Metro station and the airport without having to go outdoors.

Scandinavian Airlines is very pleased to learn about your interest in Copenhagen as a venue for WOMEX. We would like to take this opportunity to suggest a cooperation between SAS and WOMEX in the event that Copenhagen will be chosen for the Event in 2009-2011.

Working with SAS as Official Airline can add prestige to the Event, and also it is a recommendation to the participants that SAS is supporting them. At this stage, we will offer free or reduced air transportation for any further necessary site inspection, which is planned in cooperation with Wonderful Copenhagen, for an agreed number of members of the committee.

Through an Agreement, we would suggest the following cooperation in the planning period after the decision of holding the Event in Copenhagen has been taken: - SAS will assist with the marketing of the Event through the SAS sales organization abroad, subject to time and resources being available at the respective SAS office.

- Special Conference discounts could be available for the delegates and accompanying persons.

Discounts are applicable on SAS routes and selected regional airline partners.

- Air transportation on SAS routes could be made available for your promotion and planning of the Event or for the travel arrangements of guest speakers (Barter Agreement).

- A Star Alliance™ Conventions Plus Official Airline Network Agreement could be made available if specific criterias are met, see enclosure.

Some of these points and proposals are of course subject to further negotiations as soon as Copenhagen has been chosen as the venue for the Event.

Star Alliance™ Conventions Plus – the best place to go for an international conference.

Conventions Plus is the first airline conventions program designed to meet the needs of people planning and attending international events. Whether you are an organiser or a delegate, you will find that the Conventions Plus program makes arranging air travel easier.

For the organisers Conventions Plus offers the "Organiser Support Program" and the "Organiser Incentive Program". This includes the provision of support tickets for official event use.

For the delegates, Conventions Plus offers access to global convention fares on participating Star Alliance member airlines, and access to the benefits of the Star Alliance Network that includes the Frequent Flyer programs.

Rail Copenhagen is linked to the rest of Europe by rail with frequent connections to most major cities in Europe. Bus

All the major road networks of Europe connect to Copenhagen over bridges or with ferry services. These include: from Sweden – E20 (Øresund bridge), 3 (ferry from Helsingborg); from Germany – E47 (ferry from Puttgarden), E55 (ferry from Rostock); from Jutland E20.

It is also possible to reach Copenhagen by bus from other Scandinavian cities and the Southern Europe.

COPENHAGEN: EASY TO BE IN TRANSPORTATION IN & AROUND CPH Easy to get around Copenhagen is a compact city and everything is close at hand. Most hotels, restaurants, sights and shops are within walking distance and public transport is comfortable, efficient and safe. Unlike any other European capital city, Copenhagen has no traffic problems and no congestion, so minimal travel times between any of the locations in and around the city can be guaranteed. Swift and easy transportation is available from Copenhagen Airport to and from the Bella Center.

Taxi and car rental Taxis are comfortable and clean, and they are plentiful and generally easy to hail.

They accept all major credit cards, as well as cash in DKK, Euros and US$.

Car rental is also possible.

Taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is around 170 DKK (22 EUR).

The Metro and S-trains The Metro and S-trains are linking parts of the Danish capital in a new way.

With the Metro, there is an effective and fast link between the large urban areas to the east and west with the city centre acting as the hub. The Metro is operating around the clock on weekends. The S-trains run from early morning to late evening.

Trains and buses Trains and buses run frequently to all parts of the country as well as in the city of Copenhagen. In addition to the traditional means of public transport the city has two waterbuses. The harbour buses have specific routes and function just like ordinary buses. They serve the central part of Copenhagen Harbour and make it simple to travel between the centre of Copenhagen and Christian-shavn/Holmen/ The Opera House.

Public transport package The WOMEX delegates will receive a Travel pass, which will be valid in all zones facilitating the transportation between the Bella Center and the city centre.

The travel card is the pass to unlimited travel by bus, S-trains and Metro in the Greater Copenhagen Area.

Walking Copenhagen was the first city to introduce pedestrian streets and many visitors find walking an enjoyable and relaxed way of getting around. Most attractions in the city centre are located close to each other, and since Copenhagen is a safe city, walking is an attractive option.

Metro to Copenhagen Airport by 2007 The third phase of the Copenhagen Metro is expected to open in October 2007, linking Copenhagen Airport and the city center. The trip from Kongens Nytorv Station to Copenhagen Airport will take only 12 minutes.

Copenhagen offers several possibilities of finding the accommodation that suits the WOMEX delegates, from bed & breakfast and camping sites to 5-star deluxe hotels.

Since 1999 Copenhagen has increased its hotel capacity by more than 40 percent.

Currently, the Danish capital has more than 17,000 hotel rooms, and there are about 3,000 hotel rooms in Malmö in southern Sweden. In the entire Øresund region you will find more than 27,000 hotel rooms.

YOUTH HOSTELS Danhostel Copenhagen City has 300 rooms and opened in mid-May 2005. The new exclusive youth and family hostel is located very centrally within walking distance of the City Hall Square, the Tivoli gardens, the main railway station and Holmen.

The hostel has an exceptionally fine view over the city’s roofs, the Opera House and Islands Brygge. Price: 16 EUR per night per person.

Danhostel Bellahøj

Danhostel Copenhagen Amager is the second largest hostel in Copenhagen with 528 beds. It is located in a green area with the Copenhagen Congress Center, Bella Center, as its closest neighbour. Prices from 14 EUR pr. night per person.

Cab Inn Copenhagen has 600 rooms in 3 central locations and by Spring 2009, the Cab Inn will also open a new hotel with 700 rooms close to the Bella Center. All rooms are furnished as luxury cabins, with a maximum capacity of up to 4 persons in the same room. All rooms have private bath, toilet, television and telephone, as well as free tea and coffee. Prices from 71 EUR pr. night for a single room.

Entrance and registration The entrance and registration is conveniently suggested allocated in Hall H, built up with registration (inclusive terminals and phone connections), welcome and info desks. The cloakroom and bag storage facilities offering comprehensive space will also be provided in hall H conveniently located right next to the registration.

The WOMEX production offices and webcast production office will be provided in the BV meeting rooms.

Lounge – catering – Web cafés The Centre Hall is the Centre of WOMEX – offering lounge area, world catering and web cafés.

Trade fair

Exhibition – with integrated lounge areas The exhibition is located in the B-Halls - offering comprehensive and flexible space.

This area has friendly and warm atmosphere and at the same time offering an ideal location for the exhibitors. With a close integration, it will be a natural area to pass and to circulate in when going to and from the entrance and the concert venues. The ceiling height varies between 2,5 and 3,3 meters which makes this area perfect for smaller shell scheme stands.

Wireless network in the exhibition area A new, modern Cisco-based high-speed network has made Bella Center a leading international e-conferencing centre. Our partnership with the Danish telecoms company TDC, which is continuously optimising network services and internet connectivity, ensures on-going expansion of the high-tech facilities available at the Bella Center.

The cost for establishing a wireless zone in the exhibition area is included in the enclosed event budget.

WOMEX DAYS Technical services and shell scheme for the Exhibition Bella Center will supply technical service as well as shell scheme stands for the exhibition.

Using our modular shell scheme system we can quickly construct high quality stand of flexible sizes using 1 meter stand wall modules in off-white plastic laminate.

The conference facilities are all located on first floor and are of the highest international standard. The flexible set up also offers space for afterconference meetings, receptions and cocktails. The conference facilities are contemporary in style – with Danish design furniture and modern art.

Showcase space

We will assign a Technical Coordinator who will be able to assist exhibitors with any questions they have related to the technical supplies.

Hall A – with a capacity of 4,000+ fully carpeted and column free and has a beautiful star ceiling which goes up to 9 meters.

Auditorium 10/11 - seating more than 600 persons, and offering superb acoustic for all kind of music is suggested for as the requested optional day case concert.

It is a perfect concert venue for the opening award with a broad stage as well as for the day case shows.

Countless soloists and groups have filled the hall and performed to enthusiastic audiences.

Bella Center has capacity for 20,000 congress delegates at a time. The three-storey building includes several foyer areas plus an auditorium that accommodates 930 guests and can be divided into three separate auditoria, each with space for 310 delegates.

To make it as easy as possible for you as organisers Bella Center has proposed a package containing partition walls towards neighbouring stands, fascia boards facing the gangways (excluding text), one lamp per 9 m_, 1 table and 4 chairs and 1,3 kW power supply per stand.

Media/Press The Media Center for the national and international journalists and radio broadcasters is suggested located in hall H adjacent to the Radio Studio and next to internal Bella Center outdoor facilities for ENG-trucks, etc.

CATERING Culinary magic from Bella Center The Danes are renowned for their ability to conjure up delicious dishes from the fruits of sea and soil, and at the Bella Center we are keen to add to this reputation. Our own catering facility thus serves traditional Danish fare and delicacies from the world’s cuisines. Our restaurants can serve up to 15,000 diners at a time from the wide selection of menus, and our facilities provide professional solutions for all catering needs.

Bella Center Services (BCS) is Bella Centers’ exclusive caterer who has more than 25 years experience in servicing everything from gala dinners to trade shows. The core team consists of head chef, two restaurant managers, logistic manager, coffee shop manager, sales and project manager, all under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager.

Flexibility and creativity are the keywords when we plan the catering aspects of an event of this size and character. The Bella Center has numerous self-service restaurants and coffee shops that can be tailor made to WOMEX’ needs, and at the same time we can arrange bars in the concert halls for the evening performances.

We suggest a number of different restaurants and cafés that reflect the international audience so there will be something for everybody in all price ranges.

Dear Maiken and Iben We just wanted to write on behalf of ECTS to say "Thank you" to you and your team for everything you did to make the ECTS meeting last week such a success.

Many of our delegates and exhibitors commented on the venue and I personally have heard no criticism at all. One of the things that came up again and again was the design and functionality of the venue, it was easy to get around, light and calm. The auditorium worked extremely well - it was possible to get a good view of the slides from anywhere, it was comfortable and not intimidating for our younger presenters. The stage set was simple but very effective.

The catering was good, as was the signage. The security staff did their job well - they were firm but friendly, and the technical team worked really well - the A/V was excellent and the exhibitors were happy. Everyone was very accommodating and we really had the feeling that people were working with us to make the event a success and that when any problems were presented people were flexible enough to look for solutions and to suggest alternatives.

Thank you for all of your efforts on our behalf. We have heard from many people that this was one of the best ECTS meetings in recent years and your team and venue played a large part in this.

FINANCE & BUDGET The following pages outline the estimated annual budget for WOMEX 2009, 2010 and 2011 in Copenhagen.

The budget includes all costs required by WOMEX related to venue, show production, accommodation and catering for speakers and artists, local transportation for delegates and handling fee for local one-stop-partner.

Included in the budget is also an extraordinary Travel & Speaker Fund of 500.000 DKK (67.567 Euro) to off set travel costs for individual speakers and artists who can’t pay for their own travel.

On top of the all-inclusive budget, Copenhagen offers WOMEX an annual start-up fee of 100.000 Euro.

The income related to registration fee and stand sale is suggested divided on a 50/50 basis between WOMEX and the Copenhagen organizing committee.

The suggested start-up fee and the income split are both open for negotiation.

The total annual budget for WOMEX in Copenhagen sums up to approximately 15 million DKK (2 million Euro).

The Copenhagen organizing team expects to secure the necessary funding from both private and public partners. As the majority of the funding is expected secured from the City of Copenhagen and from various government sources the Copenhagen proposal is still dependant upon political approval.

Showcase tickets All the evening sessions brings WOMEX and Copenhagen together as one united performing platform.

The Concerts will be open for public ticket sale, and we can arrange special packages. The ticket price and income split are open for negotiation depending on the programme set-up.

There will be a separate entrance for evening guests, and the Bella Center has room enough for WOMEX participants and the local public.

FINANCE - VAT RULES This explains how you can obtain a refund of VAT on goods and services purchased in Denmark.

VISA RULES Who needs a visa for Denmark The vast majority of event and conference delegates will not need a visa to visit Denmark. The Danish Immigration Service publishes a regularly updated list of the countries for which Denmark requires a visa; persons whose country of origin is not on the list may stay in Denmark for up to three months without contacting the Danish authorities. Visas A visa is issued for the purpose of a short stay (less than 3 months) in Denmark and other Schengen countries.

Employment is not permitted during the stay covered by the visa.

Foreign citizens who are exempted from basic visa requirements can stay, but not work, in the Schengen region up to 3 months.

Visa applications are processed in direct cooperation between the Danish Immigration Service in Copenhagen and Danish missions abroad. Visa applications should be filed at a Danish mission abroad (all Embassies and certain consulates). Facilitating the processing time Conference participants must apply for visas in good time at Danish diplomatic and Consular Posts in their countries of domicile.
