March 10 was an exciting night for our ministry! It was an evening to celebrate our generous donors and honor a special group of true legacies. These legacy physicians and board members have been an active part of our ministry for decades. They have impacted countless patients, coworkers and families in our community and we are grateful for their compassionate care and leadership. We honor these individuals as they begin a new journey towards retirement and entrust our 132 year-strong ministry to the next generation of leaders.

ANTHONY CHILDBIRTH CENTER GRAND OPENING Newborn babies and their mothers now have the latest innovations in care at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. We celebrated the grand opening of the new Anthony Childbirth Center on December 2, introducing a familycentered labor and delivery model for southwest Arkansas. “We’re incredibly grateful for the generous support that helped make the new Anthony Childbirth Center a reality,” said CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Dr. Douglas Ross. Governor Asa Hutchison joined Dr. Ross; Chad Aduddell, System CEO; John Ed Anthony and other hospital dignitaries for the celebration.

The new Anthony Childbirth Center was made possible by the generous support of local donors, including primary support from the Catherine C. Anthony Charitable Trust, the Anthony family, and gifts from the Hot Springs Auxiliary and The C. Louis and Mary C. Cabe Foundation.

Message from Chad Aduddell, CEO: While we cannot yet know how Coronavirus will impact our communities in the days and weeks ahead, we will remain vigilant in identifying, isolating, and treating people who come to our facilities. Below are some of the ways our ministry is reducing the risk of transmission to COVID-19.

coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our state and local public health departments to best address the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Visitor access has been restricted across the system and will continue to be monitored as this situation changes. We have also suspended our volunteer programs at each hospital campus and temporarily closed our two senior centers in Hot Springs.

Our coworkers and physicians have trained for epidemic responses throughout their careers and we continue to adapt our policies and procedures in

Did you know that Arkansas ranks 8th in breast cancer deaths in the US? The Foundation is working to change that! 3D Mammography is the most innovative and least invasive tool for early detection of breast cancer. In addition to bringing this technology on site to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, we are also equipping the CHI St. Vincent Mammo Bus with advanced mobile 3D mammography, making enhanced screenings accessible to women throughout central and southwest Arkansas.

WELCOME
