CVTC Scholarships

CVTC offers over 400 scholarships to incoming and current students. Our online application process allows students to apply for various scholarships by filling out a single application. It takes just a matter of minutes! High school senior/recent graduate scholarships range from $200 to $2,500. Some of these awards are program-specific, but others are general, such as the CVTC Excellence and CVTC Excellence Endowment scholarships.

Note: Even if you feel you are not eligible to receive financial aid, please consider filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Numerous CVTC Foundation scholarships are financial need-based, and if you haven’t completed the FAFSA, you would not be eligible for those scholarships.

In the 2022-23 school year, CVTC expanded academy options across our region. This year, CVTC partnered with rural school districts to offer high school academies at the new Osseo-Fairchild Technology Center and the Mayo Hospital in Osseo, WI. We offered welding, residential construction, and pre-nursing healthcare academies in Osseo, serving students from five different school districts. We also had our manufacturing mobile lab travel to Alma, Plum City, Durand, and Ellsworth High School to offer manufacturing classes and industry certifications for the first time.

In 2023-24, we will expand our pre-nursing healthcare academy to be offered at our CVTC Menomonie campus for districts in that region. This academy is helping to meet the needs of rural districts and helps students get a jump start on their post-secondary nursing and other health programs. In addition, we will add a welding academy in Bloomer to allow these rural students to explore careers, earn dual credit, and navigate their interests. CVTC, in partnership with many school districts, has been fortunate to receive many different grants supporting high school academies that have afforded districts these new opportunities.
