 It is inevitable that babies will cry.  Healthy kids cry, mostly because they need attention, care, are uncomfortable, hungry or in need of something.

To calm down your screaming baby, here are some tips that may help you:  Let’s start with trying out simple things. Maybe the baby is hungry, so try to feed the baby. Feeding always has a calming effect.  If not hungry, check their diaper and change the diaper if required.  Sometimes removing the diaper or clothes can help as well. This is because the baby may be feeling uneasy or there might be rashes due to clothing irritating the baby.  Dress your baby according to the weather. If it is cold, try wrapping the baby in another layer and if it is hot, try removing a layer because the baby might be feeling hot.

 Take the baby in your arms for a few minutes and try to calm him/her down. It is very likely that when he/she will hear your voice and feel your heart, he/she may stop crying, because of the feeling of protection.  Give him/her your attention. Sometimes, a baby can cry because he/she feels the need for affection and attention. You can talk to the kid, sing him/her a lullaby and dance with him/her in your arms.

 It may be possible that the baby is not feeling well. In that case, check their temperature.  A walk outdoors may be useful because sometimes the baby gets bored of the same environment and a change may prove useful.  If the kid is grown up, try indulging him/her in games and activities which can captivate the mind. One can talk, sing, or dance to the child to divert their mind.
