A Note from Lisa Earlier this year, I had the honor of working with the art students of a local academy.

We made journals. Since my original excuse for playing with paper art was to learn to make my own journals, working with these creative, inquisitve, and sassy ‘I know more than you could ever teach me, but hey, show me again how to do THAT.’ humans was beyond sacred. I remember when I knew everything, too.

That’s the gig, isn’t it? Creating nudges us humans to observe, ponder, reach-out, and transcend. So THANKS for your interest in and support of Cheap Therapy.

Normally, I create and ship within 3-4 weeks. When I receive your order, I will send you a confirmation along with an estimate of when to expect your goodies.

What kind of pre-payment do you accept?

I request pre-payment on first orders. I accept checks (with a $30.00 NSF fee if the unexpected should happen - OUCH!), MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and PayPal. Net 30 is available on repeat orders, with approved credit.

Handmade Journals I’ve kept a journal for more years than I can count. Because of that, I was almost going broke buying beautiful books to house my hopes, dreams, fears, prayers and even doodles. That’s one of the reasons I started creating my own handmade journals.

Cheap Therapy Handmade Journals are available in three sizes: 5×7; 6×9, and 9×11 and are filled with 20 pages of handmade paper. All journals are covered with handmade paper and bound with a beaded stick. I even write a special message in the back of each book describing where I found the stick that binds it.
