A Note from Lisa Earlier this year, I had the honor of working with the art students of a local academy. We made journals. Since my original excuse for playing with paper art was to learn to make my own journals, working with these creative, inquisitve, and sassy ‘I know more than you could ever teach me, but hey, show me again how to do THAT.’ humans was beyond sacred. Handmade Journals I’ve kept a journal for more years than I can count. Because of that, I was almost going broke buying beautiful books to house my hopes, dreams, fears, prayers and even doodles. That’s one of the reasons I started creating my own handmade journals. Cheap Therapy Handmade Journals are available in three sizes: 5×7; 6×9, and 9×11 and are filled with 20 pages of handmade paper. All journals are covered with handmade paper and bound with a beaded stick. I even write a special message in the back of each book describing where I found the stick that binds it.
