After the game we interviewed the coaches of the Chatham Day School Hawks, Mr L and Ms Cat. We asked them their thoughts on the game. Mr L started by saying that this was extremely unexpected. When Tayt took the ball up the court, they thought that Tayt was going to take the shot, not Trevor “Tayt and Trevor played an amazing game In the huddle we told Tayt to take the ball down and take the shot but he didn’t. Instead he took one for the team, passing to Trevor and letting him take the shot. It was the right call.”
We are looking forward to next year and will report on the season beginning in the preseason.

HOT NEW DINER WITH A CHILLING REVIEW
(ICE CREAM REVIEW INCLUDED)
by Ben Chu and Michael Sebastian
Recently, we went to a breakfast diner, called Waffles & Pancakes, which just opened Chef Brian's evil twin, Chef Ryan and Chef Linda's evil twin, Chef Melinda, are the owners and the chefs at this "posh," new diner.
We were actually very disappointed in this new diner The menu was just downright horrible
The waffles were soggy and yet somehow burnt at the same time They were marketed as "Belgian," waffles, but they were more like dumpster waffles. It was $11.95 for ONE PLAIN WAFFLE. I can go to ShopRite and buy a 12pack of Eggos for $3.50.
The prices here were worse than Salt Bae's! The pancakes were shaped in a SQUARE, and we got no syrup or butter. These were also soggy AND burnt If you thought the waffles were expensive, you should see the pancakes For two plain pancakes with no butter or syrup, it was $18.00! I got enough pancake batter from ShopRite to make 40 pancakes for a sixth of the price.

The orange juice was stale and bitter. Not to mention, a cup of the stuff cost us $6.74! RIPOFF. I could get a cup of orange juice at ShopRite for $0.64! The bacon was raw and there was still plastic paper around it! I could eat more cooked bacon killing a wild pig breathing on its stomach. It was $5 per piece! I asked for scrambled eggs, and they gave OVER–EASY! It was $2 per egg! The hash browns tasted worse than the store-bought ones! They were as bland as the color yellow! It was $8 per piece Plus, the TV's were playing Dora the Explorer, but it was only open to 20+ because of the beer! They need to hire real chefs--Chef Brian and Chef Linda.
As summer approaches some of you may be looking for quality ice cream. Today, we did a blindfolded taste test on three different brands and types, including oat milk and lactose free.
Sample 1: Breyer's Oat Milk Vanilla Ice Cream
This was the most expensive out of the three, and it was also the worst. It was $5.99 for 1.5qts. It looked and tasted very artificial. It was light, but not in a good way. It was so bad, several of my colleagues could not finish their bowls. I definitely would not recommend this one It smelled like grease While the packaging was good, there are better, more affordable options.
Sample 2: Turkey Hill Vanilla Ice Cream
This was the most affordable out of the three at a steady $4.29 for 1.5 qts. It was definitely better than the oat milk, however I was still very disappointed

It was heavier, the taste was slightly better, but that's about it. I would only recommend it because of the affordable price and decent taste.
Winner!
This one shocked me the most, because it was significantly better than the second one, although it was over a dollar more than the second one at $5 49 I was surprised by the taste because this was lactose free, and it was delicious It was the thickest and creamiest and also the whitest. This deserves a try.

“Hurricane Chad came from Maine, and started as a Category 1 hurricane. Warnings were given to protect against the hurricane, but nobody would have expected this small hurricane to turn catastrophic,”expert meteorologist Michael Richards says “By the time it reached Massachusetts, this small, insignificant hurrricane turned into a dangerous Category 3. But everything changed when it hit a Category 4 hurricane in the ocean. The Category 4 hurricane, called Ben, sped up and amplified Hurrricane Chad’s power, which turned it into the strongest hurricane in the world to ever exist We suspect it will slow down at Florida, ending this disaster.”
We have already started to build back from this disaster, but what will happen in South Carolina? Find out soon in the Hawk Weekly.

New Planet Discovered!
by Andrew Cullen and Liam Noon
Mrs. Gadzi, a middle school science teacher in New Jersey, and her students, just made a shocking discovery. On April 1st, Mrs. Gadzi’s class recently discovered a new planet! The shocking discovery was made during 1st period It was discovered when Mrs Gadzi’s class took a trip to a 100,000x telescope and it was turned on incorrectly making it more powerful.
The planet is currently called Blue #1 because it is not yet known if there may or may not be more blue planets Blue #1 is twice the size of Earth and it can sustain life. We are unsure whether there is any human life form on the planet, but we do know that there is plant life on the planet. In addition to this information we know that Blue #1 has four moons, yet little research has been completed on the moons as of press time.
NASA scientists arrived within hours of the discovery. The full operation is now under NASA supervision Students have been invited to NASA headquarters Scientists are praising the kids calling them "Gen A" and saying that "they have superpowers."
More informati on on Blue #1 to follow!
