What a stereotypical member of my audience would be like: Demographics: Age: 15-19 years old Gender: Female Class: Middle class to Upper-Middle class Psychographics: Taste in music: Indie POP, Alternative rock, Pop etc. Films: Sex and the City, The Notebook, Pitch Perfect, Bridesmaids and Love Actually etc. Films that are associated with modern day social expectations and elements of fashion and romance. Shopping habits: shops in places like, Topshop, vintage stores/charity shops, River Island, Zara and Mango; usually places where you can purchase less mainstream clothing to appear as an Individualist. Tv programms: X-factor, America’s Next Top Model, Keeping up with the Kardashians etc. Programms which include fashion and music. My planned target audience is females at the age of 15-19. That are of a middle to upper class. Dut to the higher class audience I priced my magazine at £3 as they would be willing to pay this amount for a decent magazine. The advertisements seen in my magazine and the mood board are mostly branded clothing, make-up and technology which would appeal to my target audience. The language used in my magazine is based around the terminology used by

teenagers, by an attempt to level with them and attract them to the magazine. The subjects within the magazine are interests of this target audience due to the stereotypes of teenage girls in the modern day, aspiring ot be a ‘fashionista’ and keep up with the latest music. The font and colours also relate to my target audience due to the femininity it emits. This is yet another way to encourage my target audience ot by/subscribe to my magazine. My target audience could also be used as a product as their huge use of social media is the perfect opportunity to advertise my magazine. This works in an almost chain reaction as a reader may post a status/image of my magazine updating the world on what they are doing, but therefore. also advertising my magazine. I have encouraged this by creating a hashtag and featuring it on the front cover of my magazine.
