1963

Brother Gary Eck, SM '63 retired after teaching and working in high schools in New York throughout his career. He graduated from the University of Dayton and then received a Masters degree in mathematics education from Adelphi University. He is living with his religious community in Uniondale, NY.

1966

William "Jack" Crosby '66 has lived in Hot Springs, AR for 26 years. He owns and operates Superior Business Brokerage, managing business sales that convey real estate as part of the offering. He served in the Marine Corps, earned an MBA from California Coast University, and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. Outside his professional life, Jack has been a member of many civic organizations including Rotary and Master Gardeners. He plays tennis, owns and flies aircraft, plays banjo in a bluegrass band, and is on amateur radio. He and his wife, Alice, live on Lake Hamilton with their French Bulldog, Yadi.

1977

Kathleen McAbee Monahan '77 is starting her 17th year in fulltime ministry in Andrews, NC. She is the new pastor at Andrews United Methodist Church.

1991

Michael OIin '91 was named Dean of Mathey College at Princeton University. He returns to Princeton after spending the last three years at Lafayette College in Easton, PA as Dean of Admission and CoCurricular Programs.

Nikki Doule' Warren '91 was the recipient of the "Hyundai Hometown Hero" award. Nikki is a 3rd grade teacher at St. Gabriel Catholic School.

2000

Bobby Conrad '00 was appointed Dean of Students at Charlotte Catholic High School, replacing Randy Belk, who retired after 44 years at CCHS.

2005

Kaitlyn Gilbride Kennedy '05 reports that she is married to Kieron Kennedy '04. They have two children, Owen (4) is at St Ann's and a baby girl , Erin Rose.

2008

Aaron Blackshaw '08 received the Pre-Medical Society's Outstanding Service Award in Medicine from the College of Charleston.

Abbi Knier '09 married William Quarles June 12, 2021 in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

2010

Charles William Huber, son of Sean '10 and Lucia Leahy Huber '10 was born June 18, 2021.

2011

Josh Randall '11 graduated from Wake Forest Law School on May 17, 2020 during a virtual graduation ceremony.

2012

Melanie Runkle '12 graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020 and was married to Dr. Luke Martin on January 30, 2021. Melanie and Luke are both practicing in North Carolina.

2013

Marco LaVecchia '13 was recognized in the Charlotte Agenda as one of the 25 Charlotteans who inspired us in 2020!

Frank Pray '13 married Paige Roberts on September 4, 2021 at the Duke Chapel in Durham, NC

Greyson James McDonough, son of Jim and Grace Holland McDonough '13 was born November 27, 2020. Grace and Jim were married October 6, 2018.

2014

Melissa Tuttle '14 and Chuck Green '14 were married August 28, 2021.

Melody Hager '14 competed in the Miss North Carolina Pageant on June 26, 2021.

2017

Jack Denton '17 married Emily Lynch on July 17, 2021.

Caroline Gorman '17 graduated from Appalachian State University in May with a BS in CommunicationAdvertising and Minors in Theatre Arts and Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology. She is now employed as the Art Director at Big Idea Group Advertising Agency in Matthews, NC.

Christopher Shallal '17, a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, was part of a team that developed a 3-D printed ventilator splitter in response to the need for more ventilators for critically ill COVID-19 patients. The splitter allows multiple patients to share a ventilator without transferring germs or compromising effectiveness.

2020

Michael Fey '20 graduated from CCHS in May 2020 after attending Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School and St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School. He was recruited to play soccer at the US Air Force Academy. Michael began Basic Cadet Training in June 2020 at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Having no formal weapons training, Michael qualified for the Small Arms Expert Ribbon.
