Dear Parents, Alumni, and Friends, A Charlotte Catholic education is a gift for a lifetime, an educational experience rooted in faith. CCHS students are surrounded by a community seeking to inspire Christ-filled lives that are nourished by prayer, charity, and the sacraments, as well as committed to social justice and the dignity of all life, always recognizing the pursuit of academics as a revelation of God's truth.

The CCHS Annual Fund provides necessary resources to our school that help to fill the gap that tuition does not cover. Gifts of all sizes allow us to provide exceptional spiritual, academic, and well-rounded programming to every Charlotte Catholic student every day.

Together for Catholic, gives our entire community the opportunity to help further the mission of Charlotte Catholic High School.

Tuition Assistance

At Charlotte Catholic, excellence in teaching matters. Through the Teacher Impact Fund, CCHS is able to prioritize recruiting, retaining, and rewarding the best teachers.

The Annual Fund helps provide needbased tuition assistance to ensure that qualifying families are able to stay enrolled at Catholic.

Educational Enhancements

Donations provide classroom resources, including technology and classroom grants which inspire creativity and innovation to enrich the academic experience of our students.

Since its inception, The Teacher Impact Fund has distributed nearly $1M to well-deserving teachers through the Sister Paulette Williams Award and merit-based awards. The impact of this fund allows Charlotte Catholic to support the faculty in meaningful ways by rewarding their generous commitment to our students.

EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENTS College Application Bootcamp

Gizmo

The CCHS Counseling Department is Gizmo provides virtual, interactive grateful for the generous support of STEM simulations. Gizmo has been our donors. This bootcamp provides used for science labs, including a the senior class with additional college dynamic lab on tides in Oceanography application support and many pre-labs in for 3 weekends each AP Biology.

Delta Math fall.

Delta Math is being integrated into math classes from Algebra 1 through Honors Calculus. The program provides supplemental explanations and videos for students to practice what they’ve learned in class.

Robotics

The generous grant provided funds to establish a competitive robotics program with minimal equipment.

Competitive robotics can be incorporated into the Honors Engineering curriculum and promote STEM at CCHS.

Sewing Machines

New sewing machines were purchased to provide students with the necessary equipment needed to excel in Costume Design & Production classes and theater events.

PRIORITZING CAMPUS UPGRADES One of the many benefits of The Annual Fund is having the opportunity to look at our campus, our school, and our classrooms and allocate money to enhance the CCHS experience. Highlights from 2022 - 23 include: Smart Classrooms Upgraded Wi-Fi throughout campus Baby grand piano for the Fine Arts Center

TUITION ASSISTANCE We believe that the gift of a Charlotte Catholic education is one that every student deserves, regardless of their socioeconomic background, and are deeply grateful for the Annual Fund donations that help fund need-based tuition assistance. Charlotte Catholic provides a solid foundation to pray, learn, and grow in a Christ-centered school. While the full impact of tuition assistance is not always clear, we do know that this gift can change the trajectory of a student’s life, and help students stay at CCHS. Reflections from a Charlotte Catholic alumnus who benefitted not only from tuition assistance, but the compassionate care and education provided by CCHS teachers.

Christmas Breakfast December 5, 2023 The Christmas Breakfast is open to our Charlotte Catholic community to gather in fellowship and learn more about Together for Catholic. This event will feature a performance from our CCHS choir, a short program highlighting annual fund gifts at work in our school, and the opportunity to give a year-end gift to Charlotte Catholic High School.

The Gala

February 10, 2024 The Gala is Charlotte Catholic’s biggest fundraiser and generates revenue to support the needs of Charlotte Catholic. The Gala is a wonderful opportunity for community businesses and individuals to get involved through attendance, donations, sponsorships, and volunteering.
