Hello!
Here we grow again! Our community is constantly growing. We are adding new homes, new homeowners and new clubs! I’m excited to see all this growth happening in Cresswind Spring Haven.
The Bunco Club is officially up and running. I’ve already heard about all the fun they’ve had while rolling the dice! The Book Club has met and will meet again in March to discuss the first book club selection! Keep your eyes and ears open for clubs forming in the near future!
We’ve been having a great time getting “Rowdy in the Riley” lately. Bingo was a blast! Trivia will be testing our knowledge! And you just can’t go wrong with a Friday afternoon Happy Hour!
As temperatures begin to rise so will our level of fun! We will have some outdoor activities such as concerts in May and June! I look forward to all the community coming together to have fun and form friendships.

Cresswind Spring Haven donated hundreds of pounds of canned goods to Bridging the Gap (BTG) in December 2024. Bridging the Gap has many programs to assist the community. These programs are designed to meet people where they are, providing practical support for those facing life’s toughest challenges. We believe in offering essential services to help individuals and families move toward stability and self-sufficiency. These 2 programs are among the most visited by Coweta residents.
Weekly Food Distribution: Every week, BTG serves 500-750 families, ensuring they have access to nutritious food. In addition, we provide: Shower and laundry facilities, case management and referral services and household goods.
Summer Lunch Program: Partnering with local organizations, businesses, churches, and schools, BTG provides free, nutritious meals to children 18 and under throughout the summer. This program ensures that the 48% of children in the Coweta County School
System who qualify for free or reduced lunch during the school year continue to receive the food they need during the summer break.
BTG is committed to walking alongside individuals on their path to restoration, offering resources that address physical, mental, and spiritual needs. We serve everyone, regardless of their lifestyle, beliefs, or background, creating a community where all are welcome.

Exciting changes are happening at Cresswind Spring Haven. We have closed over 60 homes with many more on schedule to be closed. It makes my heart happy to see the relationships being formed and how welcoming you have been to one another. Phase 2 will be open in early March with 166 lots available. The clubhouse is on track to open early 2026. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate with the construction team, and we had to delay the opening a few months. Shirley is doing a wonderful job planning events, working with homeowners to start Bunco and Book Clubs. Make sure to check out the website www.springhavennewnan.com for the event calendar and any important updates.
The community features Cresswind’s award-winning “Set Yourself FREE” lifestyle program based on the cornerstones of Fitness, Relationships, Education, and Entertainment. Club Cresswind, the master-planned community’s resident-only clubhouse, will be Cresswind at Spring Haven’s social and wellness center. With an outdoor resort-style pool, sports courts, fitness programs, and clubs, residents will find a wide variety of opportunities for fulfillment, all curated by a full-time Lifestyle Director.

If you have an estate plan, remember to review it and have it updated if needed
West Point, 1982: University of Michigan Law School, 1990: Member of Wealth Counsel and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Accredited Veterans Administration Attorney
Question: We recently moved to Georgia and are wondering if the will, trust, financial power of attorney and health care advance directives we prepared in another state are valid here?
Answer: Welcome to the Peach State! It sounds like you have a good foundation. However, significant life events, e.g. relocation to a different state; marriage; divorce; birth of a child or grandchild; diagnosis with a chronic health condition; or a death in the family, could necessitate changes to your plan. It’s important to regularly review your plan so you can be sure it continues to meet your needs. You should review whether your estate planning documents, title (ownership) of assets, and beneficiary designations are coordinated to allow your assets to be distributed to who you want; when you want; the way you want.
Experiencing a significant life event is also a good time to review your “fiduciaries” – trusted persons you have named as “agent”, “executor”, “guardian” for minor children, and “trustee” to ensure the persons you selected are still willing and able to serve when needed.
I recommend scheduling a “Discovery Meeting” with my firm to review your plan so you can have peace of mind knowing it still reflects your wishes.

Cresswind artists joined together to paint ornaments and show off their talents. We have some true artists here at Spring Haven. Everyone enjoyed an evening of creativity, laughter and fun. The final products were masterpieces!
When the first Cresswind community formed at Lake Lanier in 2010, the then-Area VP of Kolter Homes, Bob Rademacher, created three pillars for the lifestyle program: Fitness, Nutrition, and Relationships.
Fitness, of course, due to the diverse and plentiful class options taking place in the community clubhouse every day of the week. From the gym to the indoor pool, from the yoga room to the line dance classes, the clubhouse was always home to good, sweaty fun for those looking to stay strong in body and spirit.
Nutrition was showcased in the schedule of guest chefs and homeowner-led cooking classes organized by the ultrapopular Cooking Club. With an emphasis on healthy cooking, nutrition was a valued component of these presentations. Relationships refers to the vibrant Club programs that organically take shape as homeowners realize their common interests. From Book Club to Travel Club, friendships are made as programming grows. In addition, opportunities for volunteer services within the region get shared, and wideranging support flows from within the community to various local service organizations.
Over the years, this Cresswind lifestyle brand has evolved and this year, our new cornerstones debuted as Fitness, Relationships, Education, and Entertainment. We like to call it, “Set Yourself F.R.E.E.” Even Fitness has evolved as we
recently partnered with EGYM to provide our homeowners with a unique smart-cardio system that will demystify and support even the most skittish gym user! EGYM is creating a Cresswind app as well so we can keep track of our goals and stay motivated and maybe even scratch that competitive itch.
Relationships remains rooted in the friendships we gain, the groups and clubs we create, and the service we provide for others in our community.
Education has been added due to a core part of our programming that highlights informative presentations from experts in finance, wellness, local government and much more. Our Lunch & Learns are illuminating! Likewise, the workshops offered by local artists and crafty-wizards combine education and creativity, what a power duo.
East Newnan Baptist Church exists to glorify God, to lead people to spiritual maturity, love others, and to proclaim good news of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19-20
Perhaps our favorite E, however, is Entertainment, as we pride ourselves on the incredible talent we bring to the community in the form of monthly indoor concerts and quarterly outdoor concerts. From tribute bands to chamber music, from comedians to magicians, our schedule of events will fill your calendar as much as you let it!
So when you see the F.R.E.E. icons, just know you are living in a community that celebrates lifestyle in a unique and thoughtful way and truly wants us all to live better, longer.
Bunco is a fast-paced, dice game typically played with 12-16 players divided into 3 or 4 tables of 4 players each. It’s a popular choice for parties and casual get-togethers due to its easy-to-understand rules and fun, social nature.
The goal of Bunco is to accumulate the most wins/ losses/buncos or Mini buncos by rolling a specific number (starting from 1) during each round. After all rounds are complete, the game ends and everyone tallies their score cards. Cash or prizes are handed out to all the winners of each round.
Since Bunco is largely luckbased with the roll of the dice, there isn’t much strategy. It’s a very casual game that thrives on excitement, friendly competition, and good company!
Our Bunco club is currently split into (2) groups—The Bunco Divas and The Bunco Belles. The Bunco Diva’s play on the 1st Tuesday of each month and the Bunco Belles play on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We currently have 12 regulars in each group with some of us offering to be subs in both groups. The goal would be to get a total of 16 regulars per group with subs to fill in as needed. With the overwhelming response of ladies who want to play I am certain as more community members move in, we will fill those spots quickly!
to Haven is our monthly invite-only event for the homeowners who closed on their beautiful Spring Haven home in the last four weeks. This is a fun way for everyone to meet their neighbors and share all the things they love about their new home and community. We o˜ er charcuterie cups, desserts and wine! So far, the little cheesecakes are the favorite. At this event we present each resident with their Cresswind name tag to be worn while at events and in the clubhouse when it’s ready for us. They also are given a candle from Kat’s candles. They smell so clean and fresh like their new home!
We also have drawings for gift cards that are provided to us by Charlie Nelson, the Publisher of The Haven, our Cresswind Spring Haven Magazine. Charlie is always behind the scenes working for our community. He contributes his time, his heart and generously continues to donate these gift cards for the winners to enjoy local businesses. We are thankful for you, Charlie!
This is an exciting event and we love to see the connections being made. Our community is growing and so are the friendships here at Cresswind Spring Haven.
This is an exciting time in all our lives as we begin meeting new neighbors and acclimating to our new neighborhood. Add to that, an opportunity to make it our own with clubs and activities! I was delighted to kick off the Cresswind Spring Haven Book Club as I found many neighbors who love to read, and love to talk as much as I do.
My love for reading goes back many years to a lake in the small town where I grew up up. As a young girl, I would complete my Saturday chores, and venture to the lake, sit on the pier treating myself to a book, which took me to far away places. My reading ultimately instilled a love of travel.
I am hoping that many of you will join our adventures through reading.
