PRIVATE RESIDENCE MONTECARLO
The apartment is located in the heart of Monte Carlo, the area built from the second half of the 19th century next to the historic centre of the Principality of Monaco. The building was completed in the early decades of the 20th century and overlooks Boulevard Princesse Charlotte with two facades featuring stylistic elements of a “quiet and elegant” art noveau.

The integral restoration project commissioned by the new owners set the objective of re-interpreting the building’s historical style in a contemporary key to give it its new purpose: the intent was to transform an apartment originally lacking any atmosphere into an elegant and precious home, like those in the styles of the early 20th century.
The new internal layout placed the “living area” in the south, on the lighter side of the building, creating a vast dining room and a more refined cooking area. On the opposite side the “sleeping area” consists of the bedroom, bathroom and toilets integrated into a single “master” space with two walk-in closets. This area was completed with two guest bedrooms.
The owners, collectors of contemporary and oriental works of art, contributed to the enrichment of the rooms with the insertion of Tibetan doors, Chinese partitions and precious jade - the latter was inserted directly into the door handles with a totally original solution.

PRIVATE RESIDENCE ZURICH
A private villa measuring 450 square metres surrounded by nature and directly overlooking Lake Zurich.

The owners were looking for a partner who could help them turn it into their dream home: a place characterised by sophisticated details and a refined yet bold atmosphere that only special hands can create.
Charisma succeeded precisely because of our typical creativity, combined with an in-depth knowledge of materials and the ability to listen, to understand people’s dreams and deepest desires.
The interior design is the result of extensive exploratory work, carried out side by side with the client. We believe that only by bringing out the sensations and emotions connected with colours and materials, is it possible to create a space that is truly tailor-made for those who are going to inhabit it.
The result is a modern and elegant architectural project that expresses contemporary living in all its infinite interpretations, fitting perfectly into the everyday life of an enchanting location.
We used noble and luxurious materials - such as high-quality woods, marble, leather, gloss and matt lacquers - and furnishings designed and made to measure by our craftsmen. As is often the case, the smallest details make all the difference: acid-etched brass decorates the recessed skirting board, in which soft LED lighting highlights the line of the walls and lightens the spaces. And the exclusive decorated glass used in the furnishings in the entrance hall makes them even brighter and more luxurious.
All this is emphasised by the bright, natural light that floods in through the large windows. Every room connects harmoniously with the other spaces in the house, in terms of layout and choice of materials: a large open space on the ground floor overlooks the garden and is divided into functional areas (kitchen, dining room, lounge and relaxation area), four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and the deck, with direct access to the lake.
The jewel in the crown is the private SPA with Jacuzzi on the outdoor balcony, a bespoke project, embodying luxury and well-being. Here the gold teak chosen for the floor comes from certified forests in Burma, and has been crafted according to a customised design, with different sized boards.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL VENICE

Overlooking St. Mark’s Basin, with a splendid view of the Island of San Giorgio, this boutique hotel welcomes guests with its rened and constantly refurbished rooms, combining modern design and Venetian style.
We at Charisma have created an eclectic and creative concept, made up of colours and combinations of styles and materials: fabrics, mosaics, glass, wood. From the public areas to the rooms, a continuous interplay of Art Deco elements and surprising details that make you understand how nothing is le to chance.
The client asked us to interpret the Venetian spirit, made up of particular finishes, materials and colours.
For the common areas, occupying a total of about 250 m2, we were inspired by the boat building system in the creation of a ceiling made of lightened materials, like the hull of a boat, combined with the corten steel of the reception desk and the stone-effect floors.
The rooms, totalling an area of 200 m2, are characterised by dierent and unique furshings and atmospheres, but with constants that are repeated: the view of the lagoon and the quality of luxurious materials such as briarwood, lacquer, woven fabrics and silky paintings featuring the antique colours of the walls.
The typical elegance of Venetian interiors is also evident in the corridors, lined with leather and tted with so, warm carpets.
The uniqueness of nishes that never date, attention to details and shapes, the search for exclusive and innovative materials. This is how we at Charisma see the luxury of bespoke design: knowing how to create the atmosphere that your client will remember with pleasure aer returning home.

KUBE HOTEL PARIS (suite nordik)
A 4-star hotel in Paris, between Montmartre and the Canal Saint Martin, the Hotel Kube Paris is a place full of surprises in the heart of a district where the cultures of the world intertwine harmoniously.

The client set us a unique challenge: to create an environment that would interpret the idea of ice, with an innovative and unique design.
The result is the Nordik Suite: 40 m2 of space with a suspended and minimalist atmosphere, inspired by Scandinavian style, in the heart of an 18th century building.
Our staff conceived, designed and created the furnishings and fittings: the suspended bed, floating like a cloud, the white faux fur fabrics, the double bathtub, the nightstands and the lounge furnishings with their irregular and multifaceted shapes, lacquered with glossy resins, like sculpted blocks of ice.
A white effect made even purer by the light that floods in through the large windows and the ice-effect Plexiglas covering the walls of the corridor, illuminated by blue LEDs.
Luxury, comfort and technology come together in a room featuring innovative and unique design.

SAINT JEAN-CAP FERRAT (private SPA)
Nowadays, a private SPA embodies the luxury of being able to enjoy a moment of exclusive wellness, all by yourself.
For a villa in the French Riviera, Charisma, working in partnership with SPA Elements, has designed and built a 50 m2 wellness area: a SPA characterised by old-fashioned ambience, the pride and joy of the house and symbol of the hospitality of its owners.
The secret of a place dedicated to well-being is knowing how to skilfully dose the atmospheres, fragrances and lights.

The owners wanted to amaze their guests, and then take them into a more secluded and intimate setting, to indulge in the pleasure of absolute relaxation for both body and soul.
The result was definitely achieved, thanks to the choice to use backlit onyx and marble, together with LED lights, and the decision to set the immersion tank with spring water into the floor, just like a cave. Beneath a starry sky created using Swarovski fibre-optics, there is a mosaic-lined Turkish bath, a sauna created with the finest quality wood, the contrast shower and the flaked ice cascade, next to a water dispenser with added oxygen, for an immediate sensation of well-being. There is also a massage area, with a wood panelled treatment cabin, combining aesthetics and practicality.
A SPA is a place where high-quality craftsmanship and cutting edge technology are required to ensure that the materials and environments retain their beauty over time.
