CHABAD TO DELIVER OVER 500 TOYS TO INNER CITY CHILDREN ʻTis the season for toys. Chabad's annual Chanukah Toy drive is in full swing. Toys of every shape and size, for boys and girls, from stuffed animals to board games and bikes. All are being distributed in Waterbury & Torrington to needy children throughout North‑ west Connecticut. During Chanukah, children gather outside at sundown before our giant menorahs, clasping their hands together in prayer and watch‑ ing the newest candle glow. But as soon as the formalities are over, they dart back home to open their newest present from a complete stranger. This is the ultimate Mitzvah ‑ to help someone you never met & might never meet again ‑ that is the true spirit of CHABAD.
