Cornerstone has proudly represented The ESOP Association (TEA) since 2023, utilizing our appropriations expertise to promote employee ownership Our colleagues helped secure language in the FY24 Senate Labor, Health, Human Services, and Education (LHHS) appropriations bill that successfully influenced the US Department of Labor to advance a rulemaking for the Adequate Consideration exemption – a critical provision that will allow employee owners to run businesses with more regulatory certainty This year, we also worked with TEA to successfully include$2millionintheFY25SenateLHHSbilltoexpandaccessto employeeownershipopportunitiesacrossthecountry
