E d i t o r ’ s d es k Imagination Project Season 02 Update

A

t Church for the Nations, it is our hope to reach the city of Phoenix with God's perfect love. We've employed many strategies to pursue that hope, and Imagination Project is at the forefront. This past May, we gave you a Season 01 recap of Imagination Project, which is our renovation campaign aimed at better serving you and the communities we reach. So far, we've been able to paint the campus, pave the parking lot, build a classroom for our CFTN School of Ministry students, and install a new cooling tower for our main Sanctuary (you're most likely enjoying that now in your summer coat). All Season 01 funding has been completed and we're nearing the final stretch of the building stage. As of mid-July, we finished moving our Pastoral Care Center into its newly designed office. Pastors Cristian and Renee Lascau have been working tirelessly from initial concept design to finishing touches. You can see as you enter, that no detail was spared in the construction of this abode with a modern upscale look & feel.

Looking ahead, we're committed to focusing on the programs and facilities for our kids and youth. This is a multi-year undertaking that truly reflects our heart and vision as a church. You may have already noticed a difference; we're putting our money where our mouth is when it comes to the student ministries department. On top of the funds received from Imagination Project, we're allocating six figures toward our children and youth ministries, ensuring we have the safest, highest quality, and most fun equipment for your kids. It is our dream that any and every kid who visits CFTN will encounter Jesus personally. Of course, we couldn't make near the impact we do without your participation. Please continue to dream big, pray sincerely, & give joyously as God leads you in regards to the Imagination Project. It's because of your ongoing support that we believe so strongly in what God is doing here. There are many ways to get involved with Imagination Project, be it prayer, giving, or serving. One of the easiest, however, is via text. Simply send a text to 74483 with the keyword imagine followed by the amount you wish to give. If you'd like more info about Imagination, visit cftn.com/i.

Dr. Michael and Mary Maiden are the founders and lead pastors of Church for the Nations. A strong prophetic voice to this generation, Dr. Maiden’s messages are relevant, timely and life-changing. Pastor Mary is the beloved wife of Dr. Maiden for over 40 years and a vibrant voice of blessing to all the CFTN family.

CFTN School of Ministry has changed my life.” I have gone through ministry training before and as I tapped into the instruction and loving leadership of Pastors Joey and Judy, I was compelled to hear the Lord’s voice in a different way. I’ve become more comfortable moving prophetically and sharing words with people I encounter. The pastors helped me understand the strategy of prophecy; how to filter what the Lord has put on my heart to share through love without speaking defeat into the lives of others. We all can have the gifts of the Spirit if we but ask and seek. Darryl Ordell CFTN School of Ministry Graduate

She Is Enough

Fri, Aug 16 • 7pm • Sanctuary Hey ladies! She Is Enough is happening this month with Guest speaker and author Erica Moore from Faith Christian Center Phoenix. This is a FREE event on Friday, August 16 at 7pm in the Sanctuary, so be sure to invite a friend via the CFTN app. See you there!

Download the CFTN Mobile App

If you haven't downloaded the Church for the Nations (CFTN) mobile app yet, we're giving you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you're new to CFTN or perhaps you just got a new smartphone. It's possible you're tired of all the LINKs and sermon notes piling up in the back seat of your car. They never seem to find their way into the filing cabinet like you've hoped for, huh? The fact is, going green ditching the paper notes and bulletins is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to features. The app is opened several thousand times every month to watch and listen to the most recent sermons from Pastor Mike. We see many signing up for events and others filling out connection cards to get plugged into our awesome church. We occasionally send you important reminders via notifications, plus there are some exciting new features coming soon. The CFTN app is available to download for FREE in your phone's app store today. For more info, visit cftn.com/gettheapp.
