NO-VADA KEDAVRA RUNE-MIDGARDIAN CONGRESS REJECT POTTERHEAD’S PROPOSAL
By: Luthiel The Rune-Midgardian Senate and Royal Council have officially reject the latest Bill allowing the use of Avada Kedavra spell during War of Emperium (WOE). The spell, imported from JK Rowling’s Wizarding World universe, is believed to have the effect of instantly killing its target in a flash of green jet of light. While not a native spell originating from the Midgardian continent, this spell was introduced to Rune-Midgard by Potterhead immigrants. “After thorough reading within the Senate, the Royal Council and His Majesty King Tristan III, the Rune Midgardian Congress have unanimously decided to refuse the bill requesting the legalization of this killing spell during the period of War of Emperium. The bill as it is would create an imbalance of power since it is unblockable, not even by Pneuma.
The main voiced concern is that this will force all WOE GVG into a single meta of roster consisting solely of Magician Class capable of casting this spell. This is clearly not what we have in mind for the server,” said the official Spokesperson of the Congress. The bill was drafted and proposed by Olympian Guild’s Potterlympian community as part of Civil Legislation Proposal Initiative that allows for civilians to propose new legislature drafts to be read and voted by the Congress. “We understand the Congress’ reasoning, and will propose a second bill to amend the technical questions that seems to be the main reason,” said KitCat, head of Olympian branch of Potterheads. “There are of course many fine details to consider: Would introducing longer cooldown and animation delay to the spell helps balance the skill? Would Golden Thief Bug Card allow immunity to
this spell? We will look to this and propose a second draft Soon™.” The Owl Relieved On the other hand, Olympian Guild’s Owl had expressed his relief over the Congress’ decision. “I am pleased on the Congress’ decision,” declared Owl to our reporter. “I was so afraid many WOE players will be tempted to try putting this spell into practice for the next Saturday WOE instead of focusing on voice command. Now hopefully we can go back to simple discussion over stacking and whether we need to employ Soul Linkers and how many creators we should run in our roster instead of this… this nonsense fictional WOE discussion!”
