Key Understandings for Students ● ●
● ●
Jesus, through the Holy Spirit calls and empowers us to work to uphold the dignity of all people. Christians are called to read the signs of the times in terms of the significant (positive and negative) movements throughout the world in which we live. They are called to reflect and act on them in ways that bring about the transformation of the world. The dignity of each human person requires the pursuit of the common good in a spirit of solidarity and subsidiarity. Christians are called to create and support institutions and networks that enhance people's opportunities for their full human development.
