Wait for an Interview from the administrator or Hiring Manager.
If you’re interested in applying for another position, it is your responsibility to tell your current administrator.
If you receive an offer and accept the position, inform your current administrator 1 3 2
If Administrator or Hiring Manager decides to hire a staff member, they are to contact the current principal and or administrator for a reference and to share they are hiring the applicant .
If the position is accepted, the administrator or Hiring Manager will submit a request to hire. HR will call and offer the candidate the transfer position.
The Board of Education expects every employee to act professionally, ethically and responsibly; use good judgment; and do what is necessary to maintain a safe learning environment and positive relations with students, parents/guardians, coworkers and the public. In addition to expectations in other Board policies and directives from supervisors, district expectations for employees include, but are not limited to, the following: (check the policy), The first 3 people who can share three expectations from the policy will win a prize. Email the answers to Centers’ HR Partner.
Administrators should review and approve all time entries by Tuesday of the following week for the previous week. It is the responsibility of staff to also ensure their time is approved. If there are discrepancies or missing time entries, staff should submit an exception time sheet, which the administrator or designated person should update by Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Reminders are on calendars. Warnings are being sent, and will be discontinued starting in March.
All staff members should enter their own absences in WillSub. If they miss the date/time to input, they need to contact their administrator The administrator or staff member can reach out to HR-Help for guidance Administrators must approve all time entries by Saturday night at 11:59 PM for the prior week.
Two of our students, Pertula and Benjamin were accepted into the KC Storytellers Program through the Greater Kansas City Writing Project! Alexa Lopez nominated them both a few months ago and wanted to share how proud she is of them.

Mrs. Mackender’s ELA class, students read Refugee by Alan Gratz. While they learned about theme, climax, character and elements of a story, they also learned about refugees and some of the circumstances that occur around the world that lead to the journey that many refugees take. They were moved by the struggles and experiences that refugees go through, especially children. With Mrs. Mackender’s guidance, students made hats and scarves and distributed them to an elementary school that serves many refugees that have just arrived in the US. The school was able to secure some winter coats for their students but not hats and scarves. Our Yellowjackets met that need. They spent a small portion of class over a period of time making hats and scarves. They utilized part of their lunch, Yellowjacket hour and whenever they could to assist. The school sent the following for us to share check out Global Academy
