Create “retention partners" or “SEL” for each person to build new relationships.
Frequent check-ins for new staff.
How will you maintain it? Model the behaviors you want to see repeated.
Reflection
"Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily; even if you had no title or position."
Ask each staff member what their “hype” song is. Create a playlist and share (clean) versions with staff.
Share a funny (appropriate) video at the start of a staff meeting. Laughing together is GREAT.
Start a list (in the staff break room) of funny things kids say
Begin a Compliment Notebook -write a compliment to someone, then pass it around.
Create a Secret Mission -send an email with a secret mission, have staff complete a particular task(s) for the day. Have a secret mission sign, in a neutral place. Once the task is complete, have them write a number on the sign in chronological order. At the end of the day, put all the numbers in a raffle and pull out a few and give prizes (drink, lunch, favorite treat).
