The Counting on Quality of Place Indicator Report is produced annually and contains peer-reviewed data about the region’s progress in areas critical to sustainability and competitiveness. This is the region’s annual report card on a variety of key indicators that decision makers can use to make a difference in our community. In 2007, the Center published the first benchmark study that covered nine Quality of Place Indicators, including air quality, billboards, green buildings, litter & graffiti, parks & trails, tax delinquent lots, trees, water quality and resource use. Ongoing studies update previous Indicators and expand them to include other critically important issues. Regional and longitudinal data, along with the health impacts of the Indicators were added to the 2009 Study which focused on Air Quality, Parks, Trails, and Trees. This report was published in 2010.
