The harvest is plentiful  …

But the laborers are few. Matt. 9:37

Today, entire people groups have no access to Jesus Christ. The laborers are few, but hope is on the horizon. The global church has experienced unprecedented growth over the last 200 years, and we stand in awe that 80% of evangelicals reside in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.* The mission sending potential of these populations is immense — as you will see — but the mission sending from these countries to those who have no access to the gospel has not yet reached its potential. As long as the laborers are few, the Center for Mission Mobilization (CMM) is committed to sending frontier mobilizers to raise up laborers from the global church. Through vision casting, training, making disciples, and sharing free tools and resources, we are equipping the next generation of Christ followers to ignite mission movements to the unreached. This is no small task. It will take all of God’s people working together to reach all of God’s world. Please join us, pray with us, support us, and work alongside us to raise up laborers for the harvest.

Dr. Steve Shadrach Executive Director, Center for Mission Mobilization

We’ve inherited the mission of God … From the beginning, God blesses His people to be a blessing to all nations.

David’s triumph over Goliath spread God’s fame across the globe.

God’s desire to be exalted by all peoples will be fulfilled.

Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel …”

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Genesis 12:1– 3 God makes a promise to Abraham that He will make him into a great nation as innumerable as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. God’s purpose was that through this family, He would bless all the families of the earth. Jesus, a descendant of Abraham, is the fulfillment of this great promise! Jesus is the greatest blessing to all nations.

1 Samuel 17:45 – 46 David and Goliath, Daniel in the lion’s den, and other famous biblical stories show the primary purpose behind these miracles was for God’s name and fame to spread to all nations.

Psalm 46:10 David encourages us to quiet ourselves and meditate on the awesomeness of God. As we contemplate the attributes of His character and the power of His actions, we begin to see that His glory is such that the only appropriate response is worship from all nations.

… and we are blessed to be a blessing. Christ commissions us to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Paul’s holy ambition for God’s world testifies to our role on this planet.

The revelation to John and to us confirms we do not labor in vain.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, but as it is written, “Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.”

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.”

Romans 15:20 – 21 (quoting Isaiah 52:15)

Revelation 5:9

Paul’s greatest desire was to bring the good news to people who had never heard of Jesus before. Today, with the large amount of people who still have never heard of Jesus, we would do well to follow in Paul’s footsteps and play our role joining God in redeeming to Himself people from all nations.

Jesus paid for a people with His own blood and will one day receive His people, His bride. God’s purpose is that all people groups will be represented in His Kingdom. This is where all of history is headed; where God our Creator, our Father, and our Savior will be worshiped by all nations.

Acts 1:8 After Christ gave us His Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 – 20, He gave us His strategy. It isn’t a linear progression where we evangelize the world only after we witness locally. Neither is it an “or” statement where believers can focus on one area and neglect the others. He has called all of us to affect all three areas at once — locally, regionally, and globally. Only then will there be witness of Christ to all nations.

The world is waiting ‌

2.91 Billion people unreached with the gospel

After 2,000 years of church growth, 40% of all people groups are still without an indigenous community of believers with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize their people.

… and hope is on the horizon.

546 Million evangelical believers around the world

Fifty years ago, the center of Christianity was the Western World. Now the majority of the global evangelical church (80%) resides in the Global South — Asia, Africa, and Latin America.* These believers are often surrounded by hundreds of millions of people with no access to the gospel, but they have little vision for global missions. As frontier mobilizers, we seek to direct the hearts and lives of these believers toward those with the least access to the gospel. *Operation World 2010

The mission field is becoming the mission force. Unleash the powerful potential of the unsent. “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?” — Romans 10:14 –15

See the potential of a mobilized Africa. 129 million evangelical Christians in English speaking Africa.*

Only 5,000 missionaries are being sent out.

If just 0.1% of the evangelical church in Africa were mobilized to go to the unreached, it would be the largest mission movement in history. *Operation World 2010 †

We are raising up laborers … Disciple-making to the unreached Large group training

Small groups

One-on-one discipling

We create awareness and momentum for God’s global mission through facilitating mission conferences, seminars, and practical hands-on training for families, Christian leaders, and churches. We are also partnering with Kairos classes and Perspectives courses, both of which are long-running, effective global mobilization resources.

We lead Christians to discover the overarching mission theme of the Bible, realize the state of world evangelization, and embrace their strategic role in reaching the unreached. Our tools and training methods are simple, culturally adaptable, and reproducible, allowing these groups to multiply.

We spend intentional, one-on-one time with each of the people we’re training. We develop their mobilization skills, character, and growth as a mission-minded disciple while we model a mission-minded lifestyle. Together, we pray for the world. Together, we witness to people of other cultures. Together, we discover ways they can help send other missionaries. And together, we mobilize our friends.

… who create mission movements. In order for a mission movement to multiply, mobilizers must disciple believers to the following identities.

Mission-minded Christians When a group of believers embraces their calling to be a blessing to the nations, their spiritual priorities naturally shift. They develop a culture of praying for the unreached, welcoming internationals around them, and sending out missionaries.

Missionaries A healthy church or group comprised of mission-minded Christians inevitably yields missionaries who are dedicated to taking the gospel to those with no access to Jesus Christ.

Mobilizers A mission-minded culture is fostered by mobilizers who cast big vision for the body of Christ. Mobilizers provide training and tools for believers to embrace their strategic role in helping fulfill the Great Commission.

Tariku: the seed of an Ethiopian mission movement. Mobilizing leaders Tariku and his team have mobilized over 10,000 pastors and college students through various mission education programs. They are multiplying Kairos courses, Perspectives courses, and training hundreds to lead our NVISION seminar.

Sending goers Approximately 16 million people from unreached people groups live in Ethiopia — and even more live just within a day’s drive from its borders. Tariku and his team are engaging 16 tribal unreached people groups, and because of recent efforts, there are now small groups of Muslim-background believers coming to the capital city for Bible training.

Mobilizing other countries Tariku is working with other CMM mobilizers to help train Kenyans and Nigerians to start mobilization and missions sending movements.

Families embracing God’s mission With 44% of the population under the age of 15, Tariku and his wife know that in order to mobilize the church in Ethiopia, you must mobilize the family. After training led by Weave (a CMM resource team), one Ethiopian shared, “While serving in children’s ministry, my one goal was to see children saved. But now, I have a new vision to not only prepare them for heaven, but also to equip them to be Kingdom workers.”

The architecture of the Center for Mission Mobilization. Field staff The majority of the CMM staff are field mobilizers, many of whom are “gobilizers who go to another country to mobilize believers. They are laboring every day to raise up disciple-making goers, mobilizers, and mission-minded Christians. mobilization.org

Resource teams The mobilization and missions sending movement is supported by our teams who create core resources that are instrumental in multiplying our efforts.

Weave is on the front end of the movement, inspiring families to be intentional in discipling their children to a faith that has action and a global vision. Support Raising Solutions is on the tail end of the movement, helping missionaries fund their ministries with a biblical approach to personal support raising. Campus Ministry Today helps collegiate workers focus their ministry efforts on the core building blocks of evangelism, disciple-making, and mission mobilization.

Operations staff The CMM’s growth is supported by a dedicated team of servant-leaders upholding its infrastructure. Our Communication Design, Technology, Finance, Catalytic, and Member Care teams provide the framework for this global ministry. We are blessed to have gifted professionals who provide excellent services to the families and ministries of the CMM.

Therefore, pray earnestly.

Labor with us as a mobilizer. Pray

“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. (Matthew 9:38) Create room in your prayer life to intercede for the unreached and ask God to raise up more goers and frontier mobilizers.

Send

Go

Most full-time Christian ministers are sent by people who will encourage them, pray for them, and support them financially.

The need for laborers is great. The need for frontier mobilizers to help raise up more laborers from the global church is also great.

As you evaluate your giving goals, create margin to invest in the ministries of frontier mobilizers and goers who are focused on taking the gospel to the unreached.

If you’re considering a future in ministry, consider focusing on the unreached or unsent. We can help you get connected.

Welcome

Mobilize

Frequently, all we have to do is look next door to find internationals from areas of the world that are yet unreached with the gospel.

Whatever ministry you choose to focus on, invite others to join you. When you get others coming alongside you in praying, sending, welcoming, and going, you mobilize them to direct their focus to the unreached.

Welcome them by inviting them into your home, learning about their culture or helping them with English. Invite them into your life to see the transforming power of Jesus.
