The nobility attire in Poland had been created for hundred years and in XVII century became the most popular. The traditional attire of Polish nobleman was composed of Ĺźupan and kontusz and a special belt. Also the polish noblemen wore characteristic beanies, boots and sabers.
Men's attire Zupan – it's a long, tight, men's dress with short collar, long sleeves and with loops and buttons in the front. The color of żupan depended on the public position. Kontusz – had been worn on żupan and it was n a long robe with high wristband and long sleeves. Kontusz had been worn only by gentry. The name of kontusz comes from the Turkish language.

Boots – had been made of yellow leather and it was lubricated by wax . Carabel – saber of Polish gentry, its shape comes from Turkey
Women's attire The fundamental part of women's attire was a long dress. Also women wore beanies, shoes and robes. .
Shoes – were made of saffian, and usually were yellow or red .
Beanie – cap with furry hem, decorated with the bird’s feather.
Women's attire Kontusik – robe modeled on the male kontusz.
Dress – it was a two-piece attire with fitted brassiere.

Men’s folk attire from Rzeszow
The men's attire consisted of: linen shirt, trousers of blue cloth, shirt and blue vest. The vest had been decorated by red pompons. The brown robe had been worn on the shirt. White trousers were placed in black boots. Rzeszow inhabitants wore straw or black hats.
Women’s folk attire from Rzeszow
Women in Rzeszow had worn white shirts with embroideries. Shirt had decorative collars. Women had worn navy blue or green dresses. A black bodice was decorated by sequins and it was worn on the shirt. Every woman in Rzeszow wore a white apron with colorful laces. On their heads they wore garlands or colorful head-scarves.
