WOMEN’S GOLF CLUB
TD 9-HOLERS CLUB
MEN’S GOLF CLUB
The Women’s Golf Club has had an excellent start to the 2021 season with good turnout for our Tuesday play days. The women are enjoying the improvements to our course and the opportunity to reconnect with golfing friends. We are pleased to welcome 18 new members to our club and hope they find the fun and relationships that bring us back year after year.
Our club has been enjoying nine-hole rounds two days per week at our beautiful home course this summer. We have shotgun-start league play every Thursday morning and tee times for social play every Tuesday afternoon. We had our first club clinic on June 14 and have several more planned (dates TBD).
We have a number of fun and competitive events in July so come join us out on the course!
We are looking forward to our guest day on July 28 where each club member can host up to three guests. Our theme is “Keep It Simple Sisters” (KISS) and we will be competing with a “Four Sisters Team Best Ball Shamble”. As a reminder, registration closes on July 9. Congratulations to Barbara Skiles for scoring a hole in one on Hole 8 at Coyote Moon over Memorial Day Weekend!
Our annual President vs. Vice President Tournament and Luncheon will be on July 15. Twilight Golf Evenings, which are casual tournaments for club members and their guests, are planned for July 26 and August 16. We look forward to our season championship tournament, which will run over three Thursdays in August, culminating with our always-festive club banquet on the final day of the tournament on August 26. Welcome, new members, and thank you to all of our golfers for being part of this group! If you have questions about our friendly and fun-loving club, contact Club President Judi Roberts at judi@greenroberts.com.

From all of us to our outgoing president Bill Wang, who somehow always finds the untouched powder for us, thank you! And a BIG welcome to our incoming president and friend Stephen O’Brien for coming in to make the next two seasons also great. Every adventure is better when Stephen and Bill are on the team! We welcome you to join us!

HIKING CLUB The Tahoe Donner Hiking Club boasts over 425 members. There are three levels of hiking, similar to ski slopes: GREEN (easier), BLUE (intermediate) and BLACK (hardest). The philosophy of the club is for everyone to “hike their own pace” so no hiker gets left behind. Scour the website to learn more at tdhikers.com.
After the hike, most socialized behind Northwoods Clubhouse and remarked on the day. Whatever your hiking ability, we encourage you to join! The club is planning an outdoor social for all members as soon as we get the okay from Tahoe Donner. Stay tuned…
The BLACK-level hikers started hiking in April. To the right is a picture from the Genoa Loop Hike, led by Ann O’Keefe and Rick Caviness. However, May 29 was officially “Opening Day” for the club. Hikes included Martis Valley, Coldstream to Lost Trails Lodge and Tahoe Donner’s East Perimeter Trail and Nature Trail.
