ACHOA Board must operate the Association as a business. Making decisions on behalf of our Association requires individuals with business savvy. It is important that volunteers for the Board are on the board for the right reasons not for self-interest, not to promote their own agendas, or to exert personal control. They must put the community first. The most successful HOAs have a strong strategic plan in place. The ACHOA strategic plan is designed to identify goals for the entire Association, and it outlines strategies and plans to achieve those goals. The plan provides a roadmap for where the community and lot owners want to be in the next 5 to 10 years, no matter who is on the Board. With the ACHOA strategic plan, the Board members create a legacy and guidelines for future boards to follow. The ACHOA is fortunate to have a strong strategic plan that guides its decisions and points the way to a successful future.
