Matthew Bennett
Matthew has been involved in the arts ever since the start of high school, having performed with The Midnite Youth Theatre Company on nine prior occasions. Some of his favourite roles include Bonacieux from The Three Musketeers, Francis Flute from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and most recently Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. Matt graduated from Christ Church Grammar School last year, and is currently studying at Curtin University. Performing in such an iconic musical like Godspell has been an amazing experience for Matthew and he is honoured to be a part of such a talented cast.
Madeleine Biddle
As an aspiring actress, Madeleine has always been enamoured with all aspects of musical theatre since primary school, having the opportunity to perform in a range of shows in both Sydney and Perth. Shows such as The Wizard of Oz, The Wedding Singer, Into the Woods and her first production with Midnite theatre in 2022 for American Idiot. Currently perusing a career in hairdressing, she is still able to be creative and connect with people and community in her everyday life both on and off the stage.
Tom Chatfield
Proudly grown in WA soil for 19 years, Tom is a talented performer and Voice Actor who has been travelling the Perth metropolitan area to learn and hone his performance skills in hopes to one day give his dungeon master a run for his money. Tom has appeared in numerous productions, both on and off the stage. He has performed in Stalking Matilda, Romeo & Juliet, Amor Fati, Away, The Visit, American Idiot, Cosi, Much Ado About Nothing, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, as well as Assistant Directing both A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Guys and Dolls. Tom is currently lending his voice to the characters and cast of the graphic novel Sky Machine while also undertaking a Bachelor of Drama Education at ECU.
Breanna Cooke
Breanna is excited to make her Perth theatre debut in Godspell. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Diploma of Music Industry (Classical voice), she also earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Neuroscience) from the University of Western Australia in 2024. During her studies, Breanna was a member of the Mockingbirds, a women’s A Capella group. Her theatre highlights include Meg in The Phantom of the Opera and The Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof with South West Opera Company, as well as lead roles in Peter Pan, High School Musical and The Railway Children
Paris Findlay
This is Paris’ first production with The Midnite Youth Theatre Company and she is so excited to bring Godspell to life. Paris has been a part of a number of musicals with the Busselton Repertory Club as well with UWA’s Dramatic Society where she studies Literature and Music. Her most recent roles include Sister Sophia in Melville Theatre Company’s The Sound of Music and Clarole in Back Inn Business. Paris is honoured to have the opportunity to sing the iconic song, Day by Day.
Poppy Rose
Louise
Poppy is an 18-year-old student attending Curtin University. She’s working towards a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Theatre Studies). She attended Shenton College where she participated in various plays including a production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Poppy has always loved the arts; she started singing lessons young and is always trying to make her friends laugh — no matter if they are laughing with her, or at her. She has a love and admiration for the arts which pushed her to study acting. Poppy loves performing as she has a passion for entertainment and hopes to perform for many years to come.
Sam Robins
Jesus
Sam is excited to be returning to Midnite following his Willoughby Award winning performance as Johnny in Green Day’s American Idiot (2022), his 10th production with the company. He has studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. As a writer, Sam workshopped his first musical Squeaky Clean with the WAAPA 2023 Music Theatre cohort and is now working on his new show, Last Man Standing, the Steven Bradbury musical. He currently studies Music Theatre at UWA and hopes to keep creating on stage and behind the scenes for many years to come.
Olivia Rock
Born in Perth, Western Australia, Olivia has cultivated a passion for the performing arts best showcased in her love for Musical Theatre. Olivia moved to Sydney in 2024 where she studied a Diploma of Musical Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Olivia’s artistic talents extend beyond the stage, as she also enjoys modelling, particularly in the makeup and hair industry and has developed a keen interest for screen acting. With her creative energy, drive and outgoing personality, she is always eager to grow and inspire those around her through storytelling.
Noirit Seal
Noirit Seal is a Boorloo based actor, writer, director and musician. His most recent credit was from earlier this year, directing This Is Our Youth by Kenneth Lonergan for Perth Fringe. Noirit is excited to be back at Midnite as a cast member for Godspell and hopes that themes of compassion and community in the show may resonate with audience in times of much division.
Kieran Smith
John the Baptist, Judas Kieran is a young actor whose performance experience began in 2014 where he performed with the national youth choir. Since then he has strived to grow as a performer, launching himself into choirs, bands and productions and drama throughout high school. Since graduating, Kieran has been an active member of the Perth theatre community. In 2023 he performed in Stirling Players’ Evita and Melville Theatre’s The Sound of Music and designed and operated lighting and sound for Roxy Lane Theatre’s Secret Bridesmaid’s Business. Kieran is incredibly eager to portray Judas’ complex and compelling character in his first show with Midnite.

Jackson Griggs Musical Director, Conductor, Keyboard
Jackson Harper
Griggs is a multiaward-winning composer, performer, and music director based in Perth, Western Australia. A graduate of WAAPA with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Music Technology, Jackson has established himself as a versatile musical talent across Perth’s vibrant theatre scene. His recent accolades include multiple Blue Room Awards for Same Time Next Week (2024) and Fringe World Awards for Time Capsule (2022) and Golden Age Girls (2019). Jackson’s extensive experience includes work with Perth Symphony Orchestra, numerous school productions, and a long-standing relationship with Midnite Youth Theatre Company, where he previously music directed Into The Woods and Assassins.
Jarrad van Dort Guitar
Jarrad Van Dort is a professional guitarist known for his versatility and dynamic performances. His career has taken him across Europe and the U.S. (Toby Beard), into the orchestra pits of major productions (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Strictly Ballroom, Hairspray), and into the studio with his own project, The Vulpines. A staple in the Perth music scene, Jarrad blends diverse styles across live and session work. In addition to performing, he teaches guitar and runs band programs at Wesley College and WAAPA. He also served as music director for Midnite Youth’s 2022 production of American Idiot
Tommi Flamenco Bass
Tommi Flamenco is a Perth-based musician specialising in electric bass, upright bass and key-bass known for his dynamic stage presence and deep grooves. With a background in jazz, funk, and Latin music, he brings versatility and soul to every performance. Whether laying down smooth basslines in a fusion ensemble or driving the rhythm in a high-energy rock band, Tommi’s musicianship stands out. He performs regularly with local R&B singer/songwriter ‘Drea’ and upcoming heavy rock trio ‘Platypus’ alongside various original music acts, tribute shows, musical theatre productions and corporate events — if your ensemble needs bass, Tommi is the one to call.
Passionate about both live performance and studio work, he blends technical precision with raw emotion, making him a sought-after collaborator in the Australian music scene.
Tim Creed Percussion
Godspell marks Tim’s second production on the drums for the Midnite Youth Theatre Company. He previously played in the 2022 production of American Idiot, and since has continued drumming in jazz clubs and big bands in Perth. Tim is an undergraduate student at UWA studying Chemistry, and when not playing the drums he also enjoys singing and running. Tim loves being on stage and is thrilled to be apart of such an iconic musical.

Gregory Jones Director
Gregory is Artistic Director of The Midnite Youth Theatre Company and Head of Drama at Christ Church Grammar School. He has directed and produced over 60 productions in performance and education contexts throughout Australia and the UK over the past 20 years. In his ten years at Midnite he has directed Guys and Dolls, On the Road to Win Friends and Influence People (UK Tour), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Green Day’s American Idiot, The World Goes Round, The Visit, Away, Amor Fati, Where in the World is Frank Sparrow? (UK Tour), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Silas Marner, Big Fish, The Lab Rat (UK Tour), The 25th Putnam County Spelling Bee, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Viva La Restoration, Cloudstreet, Assassins, Revolting Rhymes and Holes. From 2007 to 2010, Gregory was the founder and Artistic Director of WhipLash Theatre, an independent theatre company based in Perth. Production highlights include Six Characters in Search of an Author, Oh What a Lovely War!, Lord of the Flies, and Side by Side by Sondheim. He was previously Director of Drama at Camberwell Grammar School in Melbourne (2011 to 2013) and Guildford Grammar School in Perth (2005 to 2010).
Claire Nichols Choreographer
Claire is delighted to be back with Midnite after choreographing previous productions including Guys and Dolls, The World Goes ‘Round, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Assassins, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. When she’s not making up dances, Claire hosts The Book Show on ABC Radio National.
Sarah Duyvestyn Set Designer
Sarah graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2014, receiving the David Hough Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design. During her time at WAAPA, Sarah worked on numerous productions, notably Realism, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Reefer Madness! the Musical and The Golden Age. Sarah has previously designed for The Midnite Youth Theatre Company on shows such as Assassins, Roald Dahl’s Dirty Beasts, Viva La Restoration, The Lab Rat, Big Fish, Away, The Three Musketeers, American Idiot, Cosí, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Grimm, On the Road to Win Friends and Influence People, and most recently, Cathedral. Other design credits include High School Musical, 42nd Street (WAAPA) and Xenides (Black Swan State Theatre Company).
Sarah also has a background in youth theatre having graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts with Honours from Murdoch University. During her time at Murdoch she worked on multiple children’s theatre productions, one of which toured Asia in mid-2010.
Jay Waugh Costume Designer
Jay has worked in the theatre and film industry for over 25 years. In that time she has worked with Ewan McGregor, Sumi Jo and Hugh Jackman. Jay has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, Opera Australia and Sesame Street. For the last 19 years she has been working for The Midnite Youth Theatre Company as Resident Costume Designer. In that time Jay has worked with over 20 directors and on over 60 productions. Some of her favourites include Goodmorning Mr Magpie, Cloudstreet, West Side Story, The Fantasticks, Viva La Restoration and Antigone
Daniel Clayton Stage Manager
Daniel has had a passion for theatre since a very young age. He began his journey with Perth Youth Theatre, performing various Craig Hawes productions during their school holiday program. His experiences there encouraged him to join the Midnite Youth Theatre Company in Year 6, and he hasn’t looked back since. He has had lead roles in productions such as The Visit and Green Day’s American Idiot and took Drama ATAR as a Year 11 and 12 subject. He hopes to continue his passion through university and well into the future and is extremely excited for this production.
Tess Reuvers Production Manager/ Lighting Designer
Tess graduated from WAAPA in 2008 with an Advanced Diploma of Lighting for Live Performance. Her design credits include The Shape of Things (Best Production Perth Equity Guild Awards 2010) and Yellow Moon – The Ballad of Leila and Leigh (Hot Bed Theatre Ensemble) Sweeney Todd, Les Liaisons Dangeruses and East (WAAPA). As production electrician, The Year of Magical Thinking (Black Swan State Theatre Company), AV Technician To The Rescue (Bizircus/Pinstripe Circus) and Stage Manager for The Amber Amulet (Barking Gecko Theatre Company). She has worked with a variety of organisations, including; Deckchair Theatre Company, Mega Vision Sound and Lighting, and PICA. Tess has also held positions as venue technician, tour manager and in-house designer. In 2013 she took up the position as Production Manager and Resident Lighting Designer for The Midnite Youth Theatre Company.
