a note from

LEAD PASTOR

MARK ASHTON

I am so thankful for this church! In 2016, we have been privileged to see huge advances for the Kingdom: • Planting Bridge Chapel North • Growing CityCare Counseling & renovating The Porch • Leading a citywide outreach Everybody Wins • Building a women’s clinic in Falakala, Mali • Releasing thousands of disciples to impact Omaha I am so privileged to serve as your pastor. I am grateful for your love for Jesus, His people, His mission, and this city of Omaha. May the blessing and power of God strengthen us all as we serve Him fully in 2017!

LOOKING AHEAD: 2017 CCC will join over 30 other churches in the Omaha Metro for this 5-week message series. Kicking off Easter Sunday (April 16), Love Can will inspire us with the greatest love story ever told and challenge us to share that love with those who don’t know it. CCC is partnering with Citylight Church to co-plant a new church in the Aksarben area. Our own Jared Kliewer, with co-planter Andrew Rutten, will officially launch this September. To learn how you can pray, support, or join Citylight Aksarben, visit citylightaksarben.org. Global missions is a passion at CCC, which is why we devote one week a year to highlight what God is doing around the world through CCC and Alliance missions. We’ll hear from our key global staff, pray together, and look ahead to what God has in store for CCC missions in the next year. One of CCC’s annual highlights, Baptism on the Green is a time to celebrate and witness the life-changing power of Jesus. We’ll have fun with activities, live music, and a baptism service where we’ll witness dozens of people publicly expressing their faith on September 10.

Short-Term Missions

Going on a short-term mission trip is a great way to expand one’s worldview and see first-hand what God is doing through the ministries of our various global staff. To sign up for an upcoming trip, visit cccomaha.org/stm. 15
