CC BIKER & MOTORSPORTS
CMA Ride – Coulterville / Gold Country
On the third Saturday morning of every month, our local Sword and Shield Riders (Clovis Chapter) of the Christian Motorcyclists’ Association (CMA) and friends, gather for breakfast, fellowship, and an awesome group ride. This month in February 2025, we assembled over 12 riders for an adventurous 220-mile + round trip ride up to Coulterville, CA in the
heart of God’s California Gold Country. We had friends from Hanford, Fresno, and Clovis Chapters come along on this beautiful winter day. We picked up four CMA Yosemite Chapter members along the way at Chukchansi Resort as we headed up the grade.
Levi Winebrenner, our CMA chapter Road Captain, led us north on Highway 41 to Oakhurst and veered off on Hwy. 49 to Mariposa. It was a beautiful crisp day with camaraderie and fellowship

flowing amongst the riders. The scenery was green and gorgeous up there, the fresh mountain air filled our lungs. Just past Mariposa, we continued north-west on Highway 49, about to encounter our West Coast version of “The Tail of the Dragon” (an infamous North Carolina biking destination for the ultimate twisty road experience in the US), a 13-mile section of unforgiving road, with 10 mph switchbacks and twisty hairpin turns galore. You must

have your wits fully focused and use total concentration to maneuver this winding road along the Merced River Gorge as we proceeded onward to Coulterville. At our destination, the Hotel Jeffery and the Northern Mariposa County Visitors Center greet you as you enter the sleepy town of about 200 residents. The Coulter Café is always a welcome destination to

CC Biker and Motorsports Who We Are
Richard Tilley OWNER/EDITOR
We are an information guide for Biker and Motorsports in the Central Valley of California that lets you know some biker friendly businesses. All of the businesses listed in CC Biker are biker friendly and mostly biker owned.
We are Veteran owned and operated. Our first paper was published in March 2016. We distributed from Bakersfield to Mariposa and the Central Coast. We had about 500 locations for you to be able to pick up a copy of the paper. We covered 9 counties
within California and over 50 cities and towns.
In September 2022, we had to make a tough choice. Our printer wanted to raise our printing price by 34%. Our editor took it to our advertisers and readers on what we should do. Well, we got our answer and decided to switch to a digital only format. By doing so, we were able to lower the prices our advertisers had to pay by 50%. Since we were able to save money on the printing and on the distribution to all 50 cities.

Our 9th Anniversary Poker Run

Richard Tilley OWNER/EDITOR
Well, we made it another year. This is our 9th Anniversary; it has been a tough one with prices so high. Which makes it harder to be able to afford to do more things. The weather for the last few months has been very cold. But March is here, and the weather will warm up without being so hot as well.
This year our Anniversary run we will be raising funds to help support Epilepsy. Which is a Cause that surely needs some support. We understand that a little more this year since Danelle Brown has Epilepsy and we have grown to know the excessive expenses that go along with most illnesses. We usually start at Daddy Waffles, but this year we are changing things up a bit. We will be starting at Clawson
Motorsports, located at 6334 N. Blackstone in Fresno. We will start the registration at 8 am and Kick stand up at 10 am. The Riders will go up Hwy 41 and head over towards Buckhorn Saloon & Restaurant and hangout for about 30 minutes before heading over to Friant. Which is where our Run is ending this year. Yosemite Hemp Co. has a great place with lots of room for us to do what we need to do this year. Yosemite Hemp Co. is located at 17304 Friant Rd., Friant, California. I decided to get a DJ this year instead of a band, because the cost is so much lower. Yosemite Hemp Co. will be making tri-tip sandwiches for us and Dana is supposed to be making chili and pasta salad

CMA Ride

satisfy a hungry & thirsty group of riders ready to relax a bit and stretch out a bit on their outdoor flagstone patio. Their great gourmet burgers and delicious sandwiches always hit the spot. As always, it’s about the journey riding together on an adventure and not so much about the destination that matters, except we always seem to end up at a great place to eat when we ride! I love the random talks we have on our coffee / gas / restroom stops along the way. The stories and playful bantering back and forth that arise as we sit around a table breaking bread together are one
of the many highlights why I love to come together on these motorcycle journeys. You always learn something new about your long-term friends or your brand-new acquaintances that are now your biking brother or sister. I will never forget all my adventures with my wonderful and dear comrades on the open road, including this ride. I wouldn’t trade one of these cherished and precious biking family members for all the riches of the world. They are my family, both in-laws and outlaws, perfectly and beautifully joined together by the love of the rolling wheel.

to go with your sandwich to make it a full meal.
As always, our runs are open to everyone — bikes, cars and trucks. It takes a community to come together to raise funds for a cause. We will have the DJ take a few breaks so we can conduct our opportunity drawings. We plan to break the drawing into like 3 different times, so we have less stops of the music for a long period. Normally, we have around 50 items up for grabs and I am hoping we have the same again this year.
When the bikers leave Clawson

Motorsports to head up the foothills above Fresno. The Cars and Trucks can follow behind them or they can do like I will be doing this year. I will leave Clawson Motorsports and head over to Yosemite Hemp Co in Friant and get things set up and ready for the Bikers Ride in. The music is scheduled to start about noon ands they will have food ready as well. Folks can also just come join us at Yosemite Hemp Co. and do their registration there and get in the games, get a meal ticket and be a part of raising the funds to give to help others with Epilepsy.
Hopefully this year we will get at least 50 Bikers and Non-Bikers to help us make this a successful event and be able to raise as much funds as possible. So, if you’re not too busy March 22nd, please come on out and join us and help us make the most we can for this cause.
God Bless US All
