we enjoyed the spring day and visiting with friends.
Net proceeds went to Loma Linda Medical Center for Epilepsy Center
March 22, 2025 — Spring has definitely sprung in this central valley. We were welcomed to a beautiful blue sky with fluffy clouds on March 22, 2025. We rode for a cause: Epilepsy.
CC Biker and Motorsports put together a Poker Run to raise funds for “Loma Linda Medical Center for Epilepsy Center.” Bikers from all over the valley came as individuals and as groups/clubs for this glorious run. The day held music, opportunity drawing, 50/50 drawing, other vendors, great BBQ food and a good time.
Seeing old friends was just a small gem of a reminder of how the biker community is connected. Smiles and compassion are universal… no matter the cut we could see that visible on this day.
Perfect temperatures incapsulated us that day as the breeze could be felt with every curve and turn of our ride. United under one cause,
To start off with a prayer of protection Chaplin Jeannette from WOF Warrior of Faith Fresno led us on our way from Clawson Motorsports. Ending in the mountains we couldn’t help but notice the green rolling hills and smell of pine infuse our noses.
CC Biker’s cause was special this year, due to a close connection. Knowing how consistent seizures has affected one particular woman, Danelle Brown. Richard of CC Biker saw the need and heart it takes to endure such a health battle. A warrior indeed, as she has surpassed levels, she never thought she’d reach in her journey of growth.
Over those last couple years, Richard was there to not only assist but encourage her to keep pushing for her own sake, for her happiness and her success. A trooper indeed as Danelle had 2 seizures that day of the Poker Run in fact. But she refused to let that define her or go home. She

LAST RIDE
It was a nice morning, the sun was shining, a good day for a bike ride. But today it was with heavy hearts and sadness. For LA RAZA MC, they had lost a great brother and friend. Known as Man, Manuel Estrada, and his family also my cousin. We met up at his house as the meeting place, there were so many bikes and cars, everyone paying their respects to the family. The family had donuts and shirts for sale; some were for the family members like the grandkids, with a picture of Manuel and the grandchild on them; some had pictures with his children with their dad. And then there were some with Manuel and his wife Valarie next to his bike. And the ones that were for sale were Manuel on his bike. But everyone was taking the time to change their shirts to support and show who they were doing it for. It was a very emotional
moment for everyone. You could feel the love and kindness and the pain everyone was feeling with the loss of Manuel passing.
As we were getting ready to leave the house to start our ride to all Manuels favorite places he loved to ride to. For his last ride of his celebration of life, they let us all know we’re we were going and said a prayer for safe travels. As Valarie got Manuel into the saddle bag with his ashes, it was emotional, it seemed as everyone was quiet to give tribute. LA RAZA MC, and other MC bikers had come to join it was a big group to give Manuel his last ride. As we got on the road, they were united in a group and keeping each other together as I was taking pictures it was amazing to see so many coming together and in such a heartwarming experience. The first stop was at The

Ride for a Reason Poker Run for April Moreno
Helldog WRITER
For those of you who don’t know her; April is a warrior woman I know who cares deeply for her family, works hard, rides a Harley and likes to make people smile by making goofy faces. From her Facebook page on January 14, 2025 - “I’ve been diagnosed with Stage 2B, Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Over the next year, I’ll be undergoing six rounds of chemo, a double mastectomy with expanders, six months of immunotherapy, and several reconstructive surgeries. We are determined to fight this aggressively and are hopeful for a positive outcome. This diagnosis is tough, but we are tougher. We know this journey will come with challenges, but we are hopeful for the future and excited to be on the other side of this, enjoying time with our four children and grandson, making memories, and riding our motorcycles again.”
On a sunny, winter Saturday in Central California; about 150 of us gathered at Harley-Davidson of Fresno to ride for our girl who is in the biggest fight of her life against the scourge of breast cancer. Every

time another woman is summoned to the battlefield we rally the troops to back her in what ultimately will be an individual fight. Nikii Angel put the show on the road and spread the word, so it was not surprising to see so many from the community out riding for the cause. Friends, families and the MC community were personally welcomed by April who was overwhelmed by all the support. On the ground; Artie brought in a

pink ribbon custom 2007 Road King painted by Edgar from Maxima Imogen, Azusa, CA. The Combat Vets Association took the lion’s share of the grunt work manning the Poker stops along the way. We took our first poker hand at the dealership and at 11 am it was time to head out. This was a self-guided ride which helps decongest such a large pack. Once out of the city my group took a detour about 15 miles north on Hwy
41. We turned east on Rd 145 where it turns into a twisty, curvy confection called Rd 211 to O’Neals. With citrus still on the trees, wildflowers were starting to bloom everywhere. We stopped for a quick pic and to enjoy the return of Spring. Back on the bikes, we turned left on Rd 200, then right onto Hwy 41 north where many riding the asphalt

powered through and continued to remain at the event, in spite of her hardship. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent, unprovoked seizures resulting from abnormal electrical activity in the brain, affecting people of
all ages. Epilepsy affects an estimated 3.4 million people in the U.S., 470,000 of those being children. While treatment can include medication to reduce seizures many still battle seizures even with medication. A cause worthy for a poker run and to raise funds to help others. We thank all who supported near and far on this glorious day.

A Day to Ride
Joslynn Davis (JoJo) National Media-WOF
A day to ride. It’s always a day to ride when you ask a motorcycle enthusiast. Rather rain or shine, some will say it’s always a day to ride. Many riders were visible today on Saturday March 8th, 2025, at the Clovis location of Applebee’s. Supporters from the community and other clubs and ministries gathered to support the Warrior of Faith Fresno chapter in their annual breakfast fundraiser. Proceeds go straight back to the community where this chapter does homeless outreaches, helping families in need and doing what they can for others in need or suffering. Rather it be a food giveaway, prayers at a hospital, homeless outreach, Christmas gifts for children in need, or gift cards to a family (youth) battling cancer, these Warriors show up rain or shine, on their motorcycles. This fundraiser supports all their outreaches throughout the year and is used only for people outside of their ministry.
The morning was filled with pancakes and prayers as we raffled off prizes and a
50/50 drawing for money. It was a successful day indeed as we ran out of pancake mix and had to go to the store for more in the middle of the fundraiser.
Several MC’s and MM’s were present, along with families and independent riders, to show their support.
Phenomenal support filled the restaurant as we could hear Cruising for Jesus also playing Christian jams in the background. With the taste of syrup and butter on our lips, it was a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. One particular member caught my eye...Miss. Rose. Miss Rose came from Bakersfield to show her support. A recent victim in a motorcycle accident she survived and has still been showing her faith in our Lord. Anyone who knows her, knows her walk is strong with the lord and helping others. Warrior of Faith went to pray for her while at the hospital, along with a few hundred other bikers from all corners. It was a monumental moment to see that many bikers come together for pray and wishing her a speedy recovery. The power in community was seen that

day. Her impact was that big in other circles. To see her not only ride again but win a raffle today was my big takeaway. It was evident she was a walking miracle. We were so blessed with her presence and support. God showed in her just showing up..... With fundraisers like this, it’s evident the biker community is one of a kind and truly a gift to us all. God was present in this room and visible on even the tiniest faces, with

joy and love. Upcoming events include CMA’s annual fundraiser breakfast Saturday 3/29/25 at the same location 98 Shaw, Clovis (Applebee’s) from 8-10am. Come out and enjoy this spring day. Rather you ride or drive, it’s a beautiful day to take a pause with others. We often get so caught up in our busy tasks and duties that we need that pause to remember why we do what we do.....

slab were just passing by. Robert’s Frosty in Coarsegold was our 2nd stop and the challenge here was finding anywhere to park. There was no getting a frosty in this crowd so we stopped next door at the Coarsegold Market for hydration and recycling. Back on the road, we choose Hwy 41 south to Rd 415 onto Raymond Rd to the Raymond General Store built in 1914. Another roller-coaster 2-lane wonder
with rural homes and ranch’s, horses munching wildflowers and very little traffic to distract us. The Combat Vets were on the front porch handing out cards to those of us taking the long way back. The last stop was Machinehead; a fine artisanal brewery. Always a chill environment; we ordered off the food truck then grabbed a brew before settling in on the back patio to await everyone’s safe return. After the high and low poker hands were awarded, the winner of

the 50/50 netted one lucky person $800! For all the fun we had, ultimately the Run served its purpose - generosity ran deep for our girl who will be making many out-oftown trips in the months to come. April’s husband Ernie was with her throughout
the day and will be her chief support system going forward. Hang tough darling; we’ll be cheering for you from the sidelines for now while making plans for your next sunny ride in the future.

Green Olive, we were there for about an hour with people taking pictures, getting drinks, playing some pole, and reminiscing about some good times with their friends, and talking with the family. As we headed back out, we were heading to Dead Rat Saloon, as we were getting close and you could hear all the bikes roll like thunder people on a small town just stopped all that what they were doing, to watch as we drove by like a thousand horses coming through. It was a memorizing site to
see as you watch over 50 or more bikes come through like a dance. As we stopped at Dead Rat everyone just hung out and relaxed until it was time to head to the end stop located at 1619 N. Plaza drive in Visalia. As we headed to the end stop early so, we could get great shots and pictures and video, we went and talked to some of the family members, they had a bounce house for the young kids. They were getting everything ready for everyone to show up. We were also helping to let people know to park in the back at the end location spot.
