We invite you to partner with us in helping your student take responsibility in moving from dependence to interdependence within a community setting as part of the educational process.

This Resource Guide is designed to highlight helpful information regarding various campus resources and the University’s expectation of your student. A copy of the Student Handbook is accessible via the CBU website – Click here.

The Parent Prayer Group at CBU places importance on Christ-centered prayer in protecting, guiding and blessing our young adults, their professors, administrators and University campus. Parents tend to be more “hands-off” when their kids head off to college, but they can still have a significant impact on their lives through prayer. Some of the prayer concerns addressed during Parent Prayer Group include: campus safety, spiritual protection and salvation of students, spiritual growth of students, career choices and academic majors, calling of students to full-time ministry and missions, student finances, health concerns, student evangelism/outreach, and prayers for staff/faculty/administration.

Wherever you are, you can be praying for CBU! Options are available to come to campus and pray as part of our parent prayer team or join us online. Additionally, when you subscribe to the monthly newsletter there will be topics to focus and pray about each month! For more information, please visit calbaptist.edu/parentprayer
