OCTOBER 2025
YOU ARE STANDING WITH ISRAEL AND BLESSING HER PEOPLE IN NEED ISRAEL
VICTIM OF TERRORISM | ISABELLA’S STORY
In Sderot, a city that has endured years of rocket fire from nearby Gaza, life for Isabella has been one long struggle for survival. A victim of domestic violence and terror attacks, Isabella has faced both personal tragedy and the constant threat of war.
Her hardships began long before the recent conflict. Years of abuse left her physically and emotionally scarred, and by age 50 she had lost all her teeth. Health problems, financial distress, and the loss of her brother—her only source of steady help—deepened her sense of isolation. And on October 7, as terrorists tried to break into her home, she was injured while fleeing to safety, badly hurting both knees.
With little money and very little food at home, she felt trapped, afraid to leave the house except for physical therapy. Where could she turn for help?
Thanks to you, she found it through CBN Israel. Your support made it possible for Isabella to receive dentures that will allow her to eat solid food again and restore her confidence. A caring CBN Israel staff member even accompanied her to appointments, helping her regain the courage to go outside.
She is also receiving regular deliveries of food and groceries, ensuring that her refrigerator is never empty.
“I can finally laugh again,” Isabella says with gratitude.
At a time when many people in Israel are still living in the long shadow of terror and war, it means so much to know friends like you are standing with them.
You are there for victims of violence with food, medical care, encouragement, and hope. And you are bringing ongoing relief to refugees, new immigrants, single moms, Holocaust survivors, and others in desperate need. Thank you for being a true friend to those facing crisis in the Holy Land.

FEEDING HOPE IN A TIME OF CRISIS
After nearly two years of ongoing war, life remains uncertain for many families across Israel. Though the headlines may fade, the daily struggles of vulnerable communities persist. In cities like Beersheva, where missile attacks have struck hard in recent months, countless people are still trying to recover.
Among those affected most are single mothers, elderly widows, refugees, and those living with the scars of war. And with jobs lost and schools repeatedly disrupted, many parents continue to face impossible choices, especially when it comes to putting food on the table for their children. But because of you, they are not facing this hardship alone. Thanks to your compassion and generosity, CBN Israel’s food distribution team continues to partner with local ministries across the country to deliver groceries and hygiene items. In Beersheva, mobile distribution centers are set up to meet families right where they are, bringing practical help and renewed hope.
Mariana Gol, who leads a local aid group, described the impact your gifts are making. She said, “Because of everything our families have been through over the past two years, we are trying to support and encourage them. And
CBN Israel continues to bring food and essentials for them. Some have not been able to work during the war and found themselves in an even greater economic struggle.”
Thanks to you, families who have endured trauma and displacement are receiving the care they urgently need. Your support is restoring their dignity by providing food, clothing, housing, financial aid, counseling, and compassion.
Thank you for standing with Israel’s most vulnerable people and showing them that they are not forgotten.
THE TRUTH ABOUT GAZA AND HAMAS: WHAT THE WORLD REFUSES TO SEE
By Stephen Faircloth President, CBN Israel
On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out a brutal massacre. Civilians were slaughtered, women were raped, children were burned alive, and families were dragged into tunnels. Yet much of the world responded not by condemning the terrorists but by criticizing Israel for defending itself.
Hamas is not just a terrorist group. It is a violent regime that has ruled Gaza through fear for nearly 20 years. Opponents have been tortured, voices of dissent have been silenced, and ordinary citizens have lived under constant threat from their rulers.
The ideology of Hamas is not about resistance. It is rooted in hatred and the desire to destroy. Their founding charter and school curricula are filled with messages
calling for the annihilation of Jews. They do not seek peace. They glorify killing and preach martyrdom.
Despite receiving billions in international aid, Hamas has built no real future for its people. Instead, the money was used to build rockets, tunnels, and mansions for the group’s leaders. While Gazans have suffered from poverty and lack of services, their rulers have lived in wealth and comfort.
Hamas turned schools, hospitals, and mosques into command centers and weapons storage sites. They launched rockets from densely populated neighborhoods to provoke civilian casualties. This is not rumor or speculation. It has been confirmed repeatedly by human rights organizations.
Israeli defense officials estimate that Hamas’s tunnel system beneath Gaza stretches between 350 and 450 miles. This extensive underground network has been used for storing weapons, moving fighters, and hiding hostages.
Women in Gaza have had no voice and few rights. Children have been raised not to live in peace but to die in war. From a young age, they have been taught to hate, to kill, and to sacrifice themselves for a warped and distorted cause.
Before this war began, Israel provided Gaza with water, fuel, electricity, and goods. They did so even while rockets were fired at Israeli civilians. Israel tried to separate the people of Gaza from their oppressive rulers. Hamas responded by using that goodwill to strengthen its war machine.
On October 7, 2023, the world saw what Hamas truly is. Yet over the past two years, this terrorist organization somehow controlled the narrative. They manipulated images, inflated casualty numbers, and circulated fake stories while keeping hostages in captivity and hiding rockets in civilian homes.
Throughout the war, aid continued to enter Gaza, but much of it was stolen or funneled directly to Hamas. The suffering of the people has been tragic, but Hamas chose to prolong it. As long as this regime remains in power, aid will not bring peace. It will fuel more violence.
No other country would accept a neighbor like Hamas. None would be asked to negotiate with those who commit mass murder. Yet Israel has constantly been expected to show restraint and explain its right to exist.
This war was not Israel’s choice. It was forced upon them. Israeli families endured constant heartache while hostages remained in darkness. Yet the world questioned Israel’s actions.
Israel has fought not out of hatred but out of necessity. They have fought for their right to live. They have fought to protect their future.
The world must not mistake grief for weakness or strength for cruelty. Israel has not been at war with the people of Gaza. It has been at war with those who turned Gaza into a base for terror.
Peace will only come when the people of Gaza choose life over hate. Until then, Israel will do what every free nation has the right to do. It will defend itself.
Silence in the face of terror is not neutral. It is a form of complicity. Let history show that we, as Christians, stood with Israel. We chose life.

DWELLING WITH GOD
“You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 23:42-43 nkjv).
Each autumn, Jewish families around the world leave the comfort of their homes and step into simple temporary shelters called sukkot. For an entire week, they eat, pray, and rest inside these fragile structures. While it may look like a quaint tradition from the outside, it is a sacred command filled with spiritual purpose.
Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, is both a celebration and a remembrance. It honors the harvest season and recalls the 40 years the Israelites spent in the wilderness after being delivered from Egypt. During that journey, they lived in tents and relied fully on God for every need. They had no permanent homes, only the presence of God to guide and provide.
By leaving behind sturdy walls for a simple booth, each generation is reminded that human strength and security are temporary. The sukkah is made to be vulnerable. Its roof is thin enough to see the stars at night. Its walls cannot keep out wind or rain. It gently teaches us that real safety comes not from what we build, but from the Lord who surrounds us.
As part of the celebration, worshipers take up what Scripture calls the “four species.” These include a citron, a palm branch, myrtle, and willow. They are waved in every direction during morning prayers as a sign of joyful praise and dependence on the One from whom all blessings flow.
Jesus Himself observed this feast. In the
Gospel of John, we read that He went up to Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles and began to teach in the Temple. His presence at the feast reminds us that these appointed times were not just for remembrance, but also part of God’s greater story of redemption.
Sukkot also points forward. The prophet Zechariah spoke of a future day when all nations would come to Jerusalem to celebrate this feast and worship the Lord together. This promise offers a glimpse of the kingdom to come when Messiah will reign and God’s people will rejoice in His presence forever:
And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah 14:16 nkjv).
Are you clinging to what feels stable and permanent, or are you learning to rest in the presence of God even when things feel temporary? Sukkot invites us to step outside our walls and find our security in the One who never changes.
PRAYER:
Lord, help me to remember that my true dwelling place is with You. Teach me to live with open hands and an open heart. May I rejoice in every season, knowing that Your presence is my shelter and my strength. Amen.
