YOU

VICTIM OF TERRORISM | GIULIA’S STORY

At the age of 101, Giulia has lived through more than a century of incredible challenges and change. Born in Tripoli, Libya, she still remembers the heartbreak of being forced from her home during a time of political upheaval. She immigrated to Israel in the 1970s and began a new life there. Although she now lives with dementia, those early memories remain vivid.

Giulia eventually settled in the coastal city of Bat Yam, where she lives alone in a topfloor apartment. During the Iranian attacks on Israel in June, Bat Yam was struck multiple times. One missile exploded just 600 yards from her building, damaging her kitchen and shattering her windows. Without a safe room in her apartment and unable to reach the shelter downstairs, she was left feeling vulnerable and afraid.

Because of your compassion, CBN Israel stepped in to meet her urgent needs. You helped evacuate Giulia to safety, provided her with nourishing meals and

groceries, and repaired the damage to her kitchen and windows. After her evacuation, Giulia reflected, “It was difficult to be outside of my home, but I loved seeing the beach every day. I don’t usually have that joy.”

Then, thanks to your generosity, she was able to return home with dignity and renewed comfort.

She said, “The destruction in the city is a harsh reminder of the pain the country is going through. I’m so thankful for your help, especially coming from outside the country and from Christians. No matter where the help comes from, it is a blessing. And we send our blessings back to all who helped us.”

Your support is making a powerful difference in the lives of so many like Giulia. Elderly widows, Holocaust survivors, terror victims, and displaced families are receiving critical aid because of your kindness. With the continuing threat of war placing more lives at risk, your partnership remains essential in bringing food, shelter, and emergency relief to those in need.

Thank you for standing with the people of Israel in their time of need.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE DIFFERENCE!

FEEDING ISRAEL’S SCHOOLCHILDREN

Even before the war, many families in Israel were already struggling to meet their basic needs. Rising costs and economic challenges left thousands of children facing each school day without a proper meal. Now, with more households impacted by displacement and financial hardship, the need is greater than ever.

For children, hunger is more than just physical discomfort. It directly affects their ability to learn, concentrate, and thrive. Without a nutritious breakfast, many are at risk of falling behind in school, which can have long-term consequences far beyond the classroom.

This is where your compassion has made a powerful difference. Through your generous support, CBN Israel is helping provide daily meals for children suffering from food insecurity. In partnership with Nevet, an organization dedicated to feeding schoolchildren in need, we are ensuring that tens of thousands of students across the country receive a healthy breakfast every morning before class.

Recently, CBN Israel staff joined the effort by preparing sandwiches and nutritious meals for

hundreds of children. These simple, wholesome breakfasts not only ease the financial burden on struggling families but also give children the strength and focus they need to succeed in school.

“You made it possible for these kids to study and change their future,” said Nevet’s Tal Efrati. “When they eat healthy food, they can concentrate in school. This is how they shape a better future for themselves. And your help allows us to do this for thousands of kids every single day.”

Your support also helps subsidize the cost of these meals, enabling schools across Israel to take part in this vital program. As Efrati shared, “Thank you for your donation and your help. It helps us a lot to create this program and to increase our activity all around Israel.”

Your gifts to CBN Israel are fueling a brighter future. You are placing food in the hands of children who need it most and giving them the opportunity to grow, learn, and dream again. Thank you for caring for Israel’s youngest and most vulnerable in such a meaningful way.

FAITHFUL SOLIDARITY WITH THE JEWISH NATION AND PEOPLE

The events of October 7, 2023, marked a dark turning point for Israel and for all who value truth and human dignity. On that day, Hamas terrorists stormed across the Gaza border, murdering families in their homes, kidnapping civilians, and igniting a conflict that has since spread across multiple fronts.

Hezbollah began firing missiles and rockets into Israel from the north. The Houthis launched ballistic missiles from Yemen while also attacking Red Sea shipping. Behind each hostile move stands the Islamic Republic of Iran, forcing the nation and people of Israel into a fight for survival that continues to this day.

In the midst of this turmoil, Christians and Americans face a clear call to stand with the

Jewish people and to resist the flood of lies that distort the realities of this war.

History provides the foundation for this solidarity. The Jewish people have endured a record of suffering with resilience unmatched in human history. From the Babylonian exile in the sixth century before Christ to the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, from medieval expulsions and pogroms to the Nazi attempt at extermination during the Holocaust, they have survived every effort to erase them.

After two-and-a-half millennia, they returned to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and in 1948 established the modern state of Israel. The revival of Hebrew as a living language, the flourishing of

agriculture in once-barren soil, and the survival of a democratic nation in a hostile region testify to a providence that believers see as nothing less than miraculous.

Christians find in these events more than political meaning. The God who spoke to Moses is the God worshiped by Christians. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their spiritual forebears. The prophets of Israel are their prophets. Jesus, whom Christians believe to be the promised Messiah, was a Jew who entrusted His message to Jewish apostles.

The continued existence of the Jewish people and the restoration of their ancient homeland strengthen faith that the promises recorded in Scripture are trustworthy. Passages such as Ezekiel 36, which foretold a return to the land, and Genesis 12, which promises blessing to those who bless Abraham’s descendants, resonate with millions of believers who see Israel’s survival as part of God’s unfolding plan.

Support for Israel is also rooted in the values that the modern state embodies. Israel is a democracy where Jews, Arabs, Christians, and other minorities vote, serve in parliament, and can appeal to independent courts. It protects freedoms of speech, press, and religion in a

region where such liberties are rare.

These facts do not erase the suffering of Palestinians or the urgent need for a just and lasting peace, but they underscore why many Christians and Americans view Israel as a vital ally and a beacon of freedom.

The struggle is not only on the battlefield but also in the realm of information. Social media amplifies falsehoods and recycled images while terror groups exploit confusion to shift blame. Christians and all people of goodwill have a responsibility to seek verified sources, question sensational claims, and resist the spread of antisemitic tropes disguised as political critique.

To bless Israel is to speak truth in the face of propaganda and to defend the right of a besieged people to live in security. As Israel continues to face enemies seeking to wipe her off the map and misinformation dominates the headlines, the call remains the same.

Christians who cherish the Bible, Americans who cherish liberty, and all who value truth must stand firm with Israel and the Jewish people, confident that history and faith both affirm their cause and that blessing follows those who bless them.

WALKING IN WHAT GOD DESIRES

Have you ever opened your Bible and felt overwhelmed by all its instructions? Have you asked, “How can I possibly live this way and truly please God each day?” If so, you are not alone. God’s people have wrestled with that same difficult question throughout history.

The prophet Micah gives us one of the clearest answers in Scripture: He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Micah does not give us a list of rituals to complete or rules to check. Instead, he points to a way of life that pleases God. Do what is right. Show mercy. Live humbly before God. These are not abstract concepts. They are seen daily in how we treat others and how we walk with the Lord.

Faith is expressed in obedience to God, and obedience is most visible in our love for others. James 2:20 says that faith without works is dead. Micah reminds us that God is looking for a life that reflects His character.

Jesus made the same point when asked about the greatest commandment. He replied, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

with all your soul, and with all your mind,” and added, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37, 39). Both commands go hand in hand. Love God and love people. That is the life that pleases Him.

We often complicate things by chasing after new insights or spiritual goals. Yet God’s Word makes His will plain. If you want to honor Him, live out your faith with love, justice, mercy, and humility. This is what the Lord requires.

Where can you begin to simplify your faith today? How might you clearly show your love for God in the way you treat others?

Scripture is quoted from the NKJV.

PRAYER:

Father, keep me from being distracted by many lesser things. Teach me to walk humbly with You, to show mercy toward others, and to honor You always by doing what is right. Amen.
