A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

“Union in a community is a precious gem if we lose this, we lose everything Preserve it with care ” - St John Baptist de La Salle
Dear Families:
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! As we begin our 150 year of Lasallian Catholic education in Sacramento, we are mindful of the many precious gems that make up this incredible school. From the students and families to the faculty and staff, our school is thriving thanks to the wisdom and foresight of the founder.
In the early days of establishing the Christian Brothers, St John Baptist de La Salle recognized that a genuine community is the most effective means of empowering education From those early days to our current experience here at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, this charge remains
Grounded in faith, our core principles of inclusive community and respect for all persons call us to broaden the boundaries of hospitality and extend a warm welcome to all. To us, that means intentionally welcoming a broad range of students and families who join us from more than 70 zip codes. It means that our outstanding faculty, staff, and administrators work tirelessly to provide high quality education in a faith-filled and nurturing environment Classes and co-curricular activities are structured to ensure students discover and foster areas of giftedness and belonging as genuine members of our community
As our mission statement so powerfully states, we are dedicated inspiring and empowering young men and women with a challenging, relevant, and diverse academic program and cocurricular activities. Students thrive in a Christ-centered community that fosters faith, integrity, global citizenship, leadership and service, preparing students for college and life.
What a blessing it is to be invited to lead this wonderful school, and to invite each of you, student and family member, to full participation in our Christian Brothers High School community and mission Having had the blessing of serving as principal these past two years, I know firsthand the transformative experiences that occur every day on this campus Moving to the president position allows me to direct my energy toward ensuring our students, faculty, and staff have the resources and support to shine brightly
Class of 2029 students and families, I look forward to seeing you all at Lock-In and New Family Orientation. Returning students and families, I look forward to working with all of you to make our 2025-26 school year one for the record books. See you all on August 13!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
