YOUR OWN BRAND PAGE TO LINK TO
Take a look at the ‘Your Brand’ page on our site, we would like you to consider these pages as your sales pages. There is space on here to place your logo along with an introductory paragraph to your brand, and we are happy to update this with a changed copy when required. There is also room for a full page copy if you’d like it. The paragraph will be truncated to view with a ‘more’ button to see the full copy. This is an ideal page for you to link to from your site as such a link will take customers directly to your range and ensure they do not get lost in the wider shopping site. There is no cost for adding a logo or copy to this page.
COMPETITIONS IN THE NEWSLETTER
We send an e-newsletter to around 65,000 people every other week. In this we write product reviews, health tips, recipes and we also run a competition in each issue. We get a very good response to our competitions and prize draws. The winners get the prizes, but the losers get a follow up email with further offers etc which are geared to your products, e.g. Sorry you didn’t win xxxxxxx but here is product x at half the price this week for you. etc. This whole mechanism works extremely well for increasing sales of a product, launching a new product, promoting a brand and giving a leg up to a struggling line. There is no cost for this other than the cost of the prize or promotion.
PRODUCT SAMPLING
We send a sample of a product out with the majority of orders (not if the order is at a critical weight band and not if the customer has asked for no samples). Having your product included as a FREE item inside a GoodnessDirect order is a great way to promote new products or new formations at little cost. It is a very positive way to use stock that is too short dated to enter the supply chain but has ample date for a consumer. Suppliers can select consumer group from Allergy/General/Everyone - for a product to meet the criteria for the consumers in the allergy bracket it must be gluten and dairy free as a minimum requirement. The only cost to you is that of the samples. Quantities can be anything from as small as 2 cases to 1000 items. There is no cost for this activity.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS
Price or quality promotions just for GoodnessDirect, bypassing the wholesale operation. We are able to offer a whole range of price, quantity and associated product promotions including BOGOFS and buy A get B half price and much more, our system is very flexible. The product value would then need to be claimed retrospectively after the completion of the promotion when the reporting is complete. This is normally claimed as a credit note. There are no other charges though.
BLOG FEATURES WITH LINKS TO PROMOTIONS
We are constantly blogging and we can write reviews about any of your products on request. This is effective when tied in with product launches, price promotions and seasonal products. We would need sample products for this feature. Cost ÂŁ25
REVIEWERS BOXES
We also have a number of contacts who will try and write about new products that are sent to them, either on the website or on their personal blog. This is perfect for promoting products and gaining the trust of the public through the opinions of others. The cost of this is ÂŁ50 for ten reviewers plus the supply of the products you want reviewing. If your items are frozen products they will need to be sent out 6 items to a box, we could do a pack of 6 items to one reviewer.
RECIPES IDEAS
We are constantly writing and publishing recipes. We could publicise your recipes in the following locations: • By product • As a product review • On our blog • On our recipe group page • On posterous • On our facebook page • On the newsletter if relevant to the flow or theme Any recipe could be broadcast more fully if it warrants it, on twitter etc. This is particularly relevant for seasonal or topical recipes. Please send us your recipes electronically and we can publish as many as you send. Depending on the quantity, they will have links to the relevant products for purchase.
TWITTER OF PROMOTIONS
All the above activity can be tweeted, including promotions, competitions etc. However it is also possible to tweet about activities you are doing within your company and we can publicise one another’s activities. We are totally in favour of this kind of brand strengthening and mutual marketing. I would welcome further discussions in this area. Do you have a current twitter account or social media strategy? Cost for including you in our social media strategy is £25. For that you would get at least 4 mentions in a month on either twitter or our facebook pages.
TEXTING OF PROMOTIONS OR OFFERS OR COMPETITIONS
Again, we run SMS campaigns to those who have already purchased products from your brand plus others who have purchased associated products. We could run a text campaign for any product, offer or competition being run. Costs are 10p per text plus ÂŁ50 administration.
E-BULLETIN
One of our most popular and effective ways of online marketing is to send a very short email to a preselected group of people. The email would contain details of one or two of your products that are news worthy. The email would be sent to all customers who had previously purchased any products from your brand or your competitors brand, or associated specified categories or sections. They can include offers specific to that group selected. This has constantly been seen to be an effective tool to increasing sales. There is a cost for this of ÂŁ75 to cover creation of the e-bulletin and administration plus the cost of any offers should there be any.
ADVERTS
Your advert would be placed here
You now have an opportunity to place your advert on the homepage. This is a rotating advert of 3 slots. 1 slot, 1 month ÂŁ150 2 slots, 1 month ÂŁ250 3 slots, 1 month ÂŁ300 The advert space is 115 x115px, just send an image and one or two sentances to catriona. campbell@goodnessdirect.co.uk. The advert will then be linked to your brand page or to a particular product on the GoodnessDirect website.
