Since then we have established ourselves in various industry sectors within the Music & Entertainments world including recording studios, music production, live tour management, artist development & management, events, media as well as music publishing.

Hi, welcome to the world of Catman Boogie.

In 1986, as a seventeen-year-old starting his career in the music industry, I began my apprenticeship in a small recording studio in Essex. This led to the creation of a small independent record label called Catman Boogie – the label only released one song before subsequently closing down. I was truly gutted that the dreams and passion that had built within me had to go on hold, at least for a while.

Sixteen years later, and starting to do some live music promotions on my own, I needed a trading name. The new Catman Boogie was born.

Today, Catman Boogie is a leader within many sectors of the Music & Entertainments industry.

Whether we are supplying PA, stage or lighting for your event, looking after your act’s live tour management, producing one of our exclusive events or music festivals, recording you in our own studios, developing, managing or publishing your music - everything we do comes with the passion we feel for the world of Music & Entertainments.

The Group is independently owned with all the companies sharing the same drive, passion, creativity and ambitions to deliver first class partnerships with all of our clients, artists and team members. We are a straight talking, passionate, creative and experienced team - we enjoy what we do!

LIGHTING “Let there be light!” Sadly, properly illuminating a venue isn’t quite that easy - unless you book through Catman Boogie!

Good stage lighting is the unsung hero of a great performance, and we undestand that completely. Leveraging our experience in display design and a keen eye for detail ensures that your show will look as good as it sounds.

LIVE TOUR MANAGEMENT Catman Boogie Live, based at our Essex Head Office, looks after all aspects of live events including arranging venues, promotion, equipment hire, transportation & tour logistics, sound, lighting, media/ PR as well as support musicians if required.

By effective project management as well as a established partner supply chains, we have worked with many artisits arranging their live shows & tours. Working with bands from the UK, USA & Europe we have been the one stop shop for arranging all aspects of their UK live shows.

PERSONALLY BRANDED PRIVATE FESTIVALS Glastonbury, Reading, Woodstock - why not have your own! Instead of battling the crowds, wading through mud and being squashed in a crowd of thousands, have your own festival instead!

CATMAN BOOGIE STUDIOS Our Essex based Recording studio complex offers a relaxed and spacious environment. We offer a selection of platinum-selling producers & writers as well as experienced musicians available for recording sessions of all musical genres.

We have recorded many major chart-topping artists which include Alesha Dixon, Stormzy, Giggs, Ghetts, Aston Merrygold, HRVY, Sophia Grace, Fekky, as well as Soul Legends such as Tommy Hunt, Dean Parrish as well as currently working with many more. We have recorded for labels including Warner, Universal, Island, Virgin as well as working with many independent labels and bands looking to achieve the very best in music recordings and vocal production.

Our spacious control room (5m x 6m) is the perfect space for writing teams, and offers a relaxed homely environment. Our live room (5m x 15m) allows the perfect space to record bands live, with an independent vocal booth. This space also creates a great live room for live video shoots.
