BRUIN MARCHING BAND

We are extremely proud of the young men who were recently named to LMEA honor bands. Alex Braud ’22, Brennan Coco ’24, Ryan Cedel ’23, Ethan Dean ’24, Andrew Heltz ’23, Alexander Lauve ’22, Mark Mills ’23, J.P. Perrault ’24, Adam Tessmer ’23, and Joseph Wicker ‘26, all made the LMEA District IV Honor Band. Alex Braud, Andrew Heltz, and Alexander Lauve also made LMEA All-State Honor Band.

The Catholic High School Bruin Marching Band travelled down to East Jefferson High School to participate in the LMEA District VI Marching Band Festival at the end of October. They received all 1s/superior ratings (the highest rating possible) in every caption of judging (Band, Percussion, Auxiliary/Dance Team, and Drum Major.) With nearly 60% of the band having never learned a full halftime show before this year, and dealing with the lingering limitations from the pandemic, a hurricane, and numerous rained out rehearsals, this a very momentous achievement for our marching band!! Go Bears!!
