Eight Chs Students Achieve Eagle Scout Status

The CHS Family would like to congratulate students Parker Garrett ’22, Hayes Domenick ’22, Jackson Trigo ’22, William Rippel ’22, Evan Tassin ’22, Owen James ’22, Ben Papizan ’22, and Jackson Thomas ’24 for recently attaining Eagle Scout status. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor for a young man. He must earn, at a minimum, twenty-one merit badges including three courses in Citizenship, Communication, Cooking, Personal Fitness, Emergency Preparedness or Lifesaving, Personal Management, and Camping, among other required and elective courses. He must also be an active member of his Troop, demonstrate responsibility, and provide leadership in an approved service project.

Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process.
