Inhale, exhale… What a great summer! The summer pool season is ending this month, soon to be replaced with tailgates and football. A big “thank you” to all the staff for their dedication through the heat during these last few months. In keeping with tradition, the pool season will officially end on Sunday, September 11th with a “Yappy Hour” Dog Swim at the pool. One last hoorah for man’s best friend at the pool! Mark your calendar now to bring your pooch to the pool, and be on the lookout for details in your inbox soon. Fall is my personal favorite season, with fall harvest and Thanksgiving. Everyone thinks of pumpkin spice, but my thoughts go to the kitchen with the wafts of hearty, warm comfort food being prepared. The Carriage Club will be no exception! We have an amazing culinary team and will be hosting an incredible Thanksgiving meal this November. If you are looking for an extraordinary dining experience outside of that, I highly suggest booking a Chef’s Table. If you need to host a bigger event, remember we are your full service banquet venue. To see how the Carriage Club can accommodate you from an intimate dinner for two to a company banquet, please call Becca Rice at (816) 702-0353 or you can email her at becca@thecarriageclub.com.

Coach House and Clubhouse Dining Changes: As we transition the Coach House from summer to our fall and winter seasons, lunch service will begin again at the Clubhouse through the winter season. As a reminder, the Clubhouse is closed on Sunday and Monday, meaning lunch and dinner will not be served on those days. Once ice season begins, the Coach House will serve dinner only until the third week of November. Lunch service at the Coach House will be provided on the weekends, holidays, and school breaks. To reiterate: Lunch is moving to the Clubhouse once the pool closes. During the ice season, we will have lunch in the Coach House on weekends and if schools are out. See you at the club, David North David North General Manager

What a great summer it has been at the Carriage Club! We have been working hard all summer on getting as many local ingredients for our menu as we can. We have most recently paired with some local farms out of Missouri and wrote a new menu for our dining room based on those partnerships. If you have not come to visit us for dinner in the Main Dining Room, I highly encourage you to do so! The culinary department has been strengthening our team and talent with the addition of three new Sous Chefs, and I hope you will read their bios and tell them hello the next time you are visiting. Keep your eye out for some of the fun events we will be hosting, including our Labor Day Party at the pool (where we will serve some delicious Greek food) and our Fall Festival with a bier garden and caramel apple station. We look forward to serving you soon! One: mayo parmesan the cob, grilled cilantro (1) green onions Serve with Fritos or corn tortilla chips.
