G E R M AN Y Germany had the highest percentage of professionals to have an increase in basic salary (56%) and the highest number of professionals to have an increase in bonus (44%) between 2012 and 2013. With a 28% increase in average bonus between 2012 to 2013, Germany had the highest proportion of respondents that were satisfied with their bonus this year (32%). The majority of professionals felt that bonus prospects will remain the same next year (46%) and that the way bonuses were calculated did not fairly reflect the value that employees added to the organisation (53%).
