BUILDING A BETTER COMMUNITY

Summer Camp at the Capital Area YMCA: Where Fun Meets Purpose

MISSION MOMENTS

Summer at the Capital Area YMCA is more than just a break from school it's a season of growth, discovery, and lifelong memories.

Each year, hundreds of children come together at our Y to experience an exciting mix of adventure, learning, and friendship in a safe, supportive environment.

Our camp offers a wide range of activities including sports, swimming, arts and crafts, STEM projects, and character-building games all designed to nurture every child’s potential. Led by trained, compassionate staff, campers build confidence, develop new skills, and form lasting friendships.

At the Capital Area YMCA, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. Our summer camp is not just about fun it’s about fostering resilience, inclusion, and healthy habits that last a lifetime. Whether a camper is exploring the outdoors, trying something new, or learning to be a team player, each day is packed with opportunities to grow and shine.
