SKILLS ACADEMIES

LEADERSHIP
Fashion Academy

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY ABOUT THE ACADEMIES

“The apprenticeship was very good in relating what I have been learning at the college to what I am doing at work every day. The tutors covered every aspect of the subject and were always very helpful and supportive. All the events, training and preparation was so helpful, particularly in terms of public speaking. It meant I felt I could make a difference straightaway when I got my placement.”

Bola, Accounting Skills Academy

“There are good facilities for the courses as there are lots of bays where you can construct projects. There are lots of short courses you can do in the evenings that complement each other, take advantage of all the opportunities you can have here to take out into the real world.”

Gillian, Enfield Construction Skills Academy

“[The college] prepared me and got me ready for the industry and working in a professional environment. They believed in me, and helped me to succeed.”

Alfie, Hospitality Skills Academy

“Bootcamp was useful in terms of getting familiar with the workflow and software used within the industry and the apprenticeship programme was what got me to where I am today.”

Gen, Creative Skills Academy

“I really enjoyed the collaborative nature of the course. The sessions were all online, which can sometimes lead to awkward and sterile learning environments, but the trainer did a great job of keeping us engaged and actively participating. The staff at the college have been accommodating, calling me regularly to see how I was doing and whether I was enjoying the course, and offered me a place on a CV workshop that I think has been beneficial for my job search.”
