Over the past 12 months, Capricorn Enterprise has held over 20 member events with over 500 attendees. These events are a great platform for members to become directly involved in key discussions impacting the future of the region. [COVID-19 reduced the capacity to host events from March 2020]

NETWORKING NIGHTS

Members Networking Nights are an excellent opportunity for members to share information and make new contacts. Functions are held approximately every 8 weeks at a different member’s venue each time. COMMUNICATION WITH MEMBERS

Communication with members continues to be top priority. Capricorn Enterprise distributes approximately 50 ‘Inside Capricorn’ EDMs per year, with a consistent readership and content providing members with critical updates and opportunities.

> 1 June 2020: Move to Stage 2 restrictions. Unlimited intrastate travel and overnight stays permitted

>10 July 2020: Opening of Queensland’s border to interstate travellers (except for Victoria)

> 29 July 2020: Greater Sydney declared a hotspot, border restrictions enforced from 1 August

> 5 August 2020: New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory were declared hotspots, restrictions enforced from 8 August

> 1 October 2020: NSW border bubble expanded to include Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Glen Innes regions

> 3 November 2020: Restrictions eased for regional NSW

> 1 December 2020: Restrictions removed for residents of Greater Sydney and Victoria

> 19 December 2020: Greater Sydney declared a hotspot, border restrictions from 20 December

> 8 January 2021: Brisbane 3 day lockdown announced (6pm Friday 8th January to 6pm 11th January)

> 31 January 2021: Perth 3 day lockdown announced (6pm 31st January to 6pm 5th February)

> 1 February 2021: Greater Sydney Restrictions lifted

> 12 February 2021: 5 day lockdown for Victoria

> 27 February 2021: Restrictions lifted for Victorian residents

> 29 March 2021: Greater Brisbane lockdown

> 27 May 2021: Victorian lockdown (initially 7 days and extended 1 week)

> 18 June 2021: First Sydney LGA hotspots declared (Waverley council)

> 29 June 2021: Lockdown commenced for SEQ + Townsville region (ended 3 July)
