The Institute Board

The  Institute Board is responsible for all matters concerning the Institute, and comprises the following members: u Prof. Dr. Marja Spierenburg - Chair and Scientific Director u Dr. Igor Boog - Director of Studies u Dr. Annemarie Samuels - Director of Research u Thirza van ‘t Rood - Student Member

Educational Board

The  Educational Board consists of lecturers, students and the Institute’s Education Coordinator. The Educational Board advises the Institute Board and the Faculty Board about the educational programmes and facilities.

Tasks are for example the determination of the educational- and examination regulations, the educational programme for the coming year and the evaluation of the courses that have been given during the year. The Educational Board can also advise the Faculty Board about the composition of their Educational Board and other matters that are connected with the curriculum of CADS.

Besides this, bachelor and master students CADS can contact the student members about their feedback on the curriculum of the institute. Student members of the Educational Board can be contacted via email.

Board of Examiners

The  Board of Examiners has been legally appointed to organise and coordinate examinations. Its main powers are described in the programme’s Course & Examination Regulations (OER), as well as its own Rules and Regulations.

The board deals with requests for exemptions or for following courses in a different order than is prescribed in the curriculum. You can also turn to the Board of Examiners in case of delay due to personal, medical, or family circumstances.

Students can turn to the Board of Examiners with complaints concerning the execution of the Rules and Regulations as stipulated in the official Course & Examination Regulations or with complaints concerning grading by the examiner.
