Welcome to Camp Cannon…

Who’s ready for camp this summer? Summer camp is a great time to connect with old friends or make new friends, learn new skills, or enhance existing ones, and discover new passions.

At Camp Cannon, we specialize in weekly enrichment sessions focused on Arts & Academics, College Prep, SciTech, and Sports for students from ages 4 to 18. Campers learn while having fun on our 65acre campus which includes state-of-the-art classroom facilities, a performing arts center, two gymnasiums, a dance studio, a strength and conditioning center, athletic fields, track, tennis courts, and wooded wetlands.

Programs

Camp Cannon programs are open to all children, whether they attend private or public schools or are home-schooled. The 2024 Camp season runs for seven weeks from June 10th through August 2nd. Camp Cannon will NOT be running camp during the week of July 1-5. Most camp sessions are three hours in the morning or three hours in the afternoon. There are also full-day sessions available. Pricing starts at $220 per half-day session. Camp Cannon will offer Before and After Camp Care each day. Early care is available from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m., and late care is available from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m., both for additional fees.

Campers may stay with us during lunchtime from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m., if indicated at the time of registration. Campers are supervised while they eat, and then allowed to play until they are picked up, or until their afternoon session begins. This is designed to add flexibility for busy schedules.

The safety of your child is our number one concern while they are in our care. From drop-off to pick-up, you can be assured that your child is in a safe environment. All our instructors must pass a background check and our facility is secured through a comprehensive security system. Additionally, we will have one of our Cannon School Registered Nurses and a certified Athletic Trainer on-site during camp sessions to address needs from administering medications to handling any injuries that may occur.

For more detailed information, please reach out to our Camp Cannon office by phone at: 704-721-7198. Thank you for allowing us to share in your child’s summer experiences.

Q. What if I want to change a session after registering?

A. Changes and transfers of registration are free of charge before May 15. On or after May 15, there is a $25 per transaction charge on all transfers that are not a result of a camp cancellation.
