Getting Started
Speak With An Agent
We want you to feel comfortable during this process. For some buyers, this is your first time, while others have purchased multiple homes. We understand that each buyer is unique and want to speak with you, at your pace, to make sure all questions are answered as we begin helping you buy a home.

Let Your Agent Connect You With Lenders
Securing a lender is an important step in buying a home. Let your agent recommend lenders who are experienced with the particular area and type of property you wish to purchase. We encourage you to speak with multiple lenders and choose who you are most comfortable with.
Obtain Financing Pre-Approval
As you work with a lender, you will become pre-approved. Your lender will present you with multiple loan amounts and corresponding monthly mortgage payments. You are going to identify a price-range where you feel comfortable. You will also need this pre-approval letter when it is time to make an offer.
Define Lifestyle Priorities
What is your ideal scenario for day-to-day living? Consider how long you hope to live in the home you’re about to buy. Do you prefer walkability over the size of your yard? How much square footage will you need in the next five years? Defining your lifestyle priorities will help your agent help you find a home that best suits your way of life.
Identify Where You Want To Live And Learn About Those Markets
Your lifestyle priorities will narrow down the neighborhoods that will work best. Speak with your agent about those areas and spend time visiting those areas. We are more than happy to hit the pavement and show you what the areas are all about.
We want you to be educated on the current state of each micro market. Take the time with your agent to look at past sales. Knowing market trends and what to expect at each price point will give you an advantage over other buyers.
Ask Questions
Please ask any question that you have. It’s our job to ensure you are comfortable and well-informed. Our goal is for no question to go unanswered.
