HANDMADE FRP HARDSHELL

The streamlined design of the hardshell of the Skycamp 2.0 not only reduces wind resistance on the road. Its innovative fibreglass hardshell has a thin layer of air trapped between double layers. This not only makes the hardshell particularly tough and durable, but also insulates the interior of the tent against outside noise and cold. All iKAMPER hardshell components are made by experts who have been producing high-tech fibreglass for over 30 years.

HIGH-GRADE MATERIALS, METICULOUSLY PROCESSED

The tent cloth is made of high-grade, heavy poly-cotton, also known as sailcloth or canvas. This is a material masterpiece that unites the benefits of natural fibres and high-tech fabric. The result is a tear-resistant, breathable cloth that has a pleasant feel and great dimensional stability – ideal for the capricious weather in Europe.

SOLUTIONS WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL

iKAMPER rooftop tents are packed full of small and unobtrusive details that make living “outdoors” a breeze. The tent platform is made of sturdy aluminium honeycomb panels. This type of material is characterised by its high bending stiffness, exceptional strength to weight ratio and flatness – perfect for on the roof of a car. The tent poles are made of tough anodised aluminium and special stainless steel components. This is a state-of-the-art finish that confers excellent corrosion resistance and a pleasant feel. ROCKY BLACK is the name of the new exterior finish. The hardshell of this model is finished with a matte-black LineX coating, which provides additional protection and a really cool look.
