Another innovation of the Skycamp 2.0 rooftop tent is the lovely big PVC panorama skylight above the bed. During the day it lets in sunlight and at night it gives you a fantastic view of the starry skies. What could be more romantic?

EXTREMELY WIND RESISTANT

Sometimes you can’t choose your weather. Fortunately the Skycamp 2.0 rooftop tent from iKamper is well prepared for such situations. It can withstand even strong gusts of wind measuring gale force 5 and stay the course.

EXTREMELY STURDY

The floor of the iKamper Skycamp 2.0 rooftop tent is made of aluminium honeycomb panels. This material offers unimagined stability and is at the same time very lightweight. It’s also flame resistant, environmentally friendly (i.e. completely recyclable) and on top of all that it offers an insulation layer for the sleeping area of the tent.

BLACK HIGH-GLOSS MATERIAL

The tent cloth is made a high-grade, thick poly-cotton, also known as sailcloth or canvas. This is a material masterpiece that unites the benefits of natural fibres and high-tech fabric. The result is a tear-resistant, breathable cloth with a pleasant feel and great dimensional stability – ideal for the capricious weather in Europe.

3-LAYER WINDOWS

The windows of the Skycamp 2.0 rooftop tent have three layers. First comes a close-mesh yet sturdy mosquito net that keeps out even the smallest insects. A second layer made of clear PVC allows light to enter even in the heaviest storms, while keeping you dry. On the outside is a canvas flap that also provides protection against prying eyes.

AERODYNAMIC

The streamlined design of the Skycamp 2.0 hardshell not only reduces wind resistance for better driving. Its innovative fibreglass hardshell has a thin layer of air trapped between double layers, which not only makes the shell particularly tough and durable but also insulates the interior of the tent against outside noise and cold. All iKamper hardshell components are made by experts who have been producing high-tech fibreglass for over 30 years.

MINI is the more compact version of the

Skycamp 2.0. Its shorter hardshell is ideal for sleeping two people and cuts a fine figure atop smaller vehicles or short-bed pickup trucks. On request, it’s also available in ROCKY BLACK with a matte finish.
