“My family and I really enjoyed this rooftop tent. We had already tried out several different brands, but this one is definitely our favourite. For a hardshell rooftop tent it has a great look, outstanding aerodynamic driving performance and low weight, and yet it has as much space inside as a softshell rooftop tent. But the most important aspect is how fast it can be mounted on the roof of the car and dismounted after your trip. iKamper has created a fantastic niche product here, which the rooftop tent market really needed. Nice job, iKamper team!”

“I just love the annex tent! It has lots of features that make it so extremely versatile. For example, you can open up the doors like canopies or just leave one door open to let light into the tent. Or you can close everything to make a room for extra beds, or you can leave both doors open for the dogs to move around. But you should leave extra space for it, at least the width of your car, when you’re setting up camp! With its additional poles and ropes the annex tent is a bit wider than a car. We really appreciate the extra room for when we’re staying in one spot longer. It folds down easily and even fits in the tent box.”

The honeycomb floor panels are so strong and lightweight – much better than other tents. The design of the folding box gives you lots of space and thanks to the hardshell you can leave your blankets and pillows in the tent, which means you can settle down for the night without any fuss. The ladder makes getting in and out of the tent safe and easy and also adds support to the tent. The skylight in the ceiling lets in ample light during the day and becomes a stargazer’s paradise at night. The mattress has a layer that repels water for better condensation. All in all, there’s no better alternative for a tent of this size.”

“This is my fourth rooftop tent. Due to my work as a geologist, my rooftop tent has been my home for the past 15 years. iKamper is by far the best car roof tent I’ve ever owned. It was a bit more expensive than other brands I’ve owned, but I’m happy to pay a bit more for the time and effort I save every time I set it up or pack it down. Setup on the car roof only takes a minute and is a snap for one person to open. The mattress is very comfortable and the ventilation is great. I’m a big fan and would highly recommend this product as the best rooftop tent on the market.”
